- the stream and the bridge is lovely
the cabin is simple but comfortable
- the bathroom works well and cold showers to stay cool are essential in this hot climate
- the nearby jungle walks and ruins and waterfalls are amazing
- ask the owner about a jungle, ruins, waterfall tour! the woman who guided us was amazing!!!
- the food in the nearby restaurant is very good too!
- There is NO SIGN to say where the hotel is! We stopped about 5 people in the area to get directions but no one seemed sure of its location. We finally stopped at the right place by accident! To help their future business, I recommend getting a sign so that tourists can find you! ❤️

The location in the Maya Lacandon Nature Reserve is excellent! From the solid wooden apartments (with moscito protection at the windows) it is 30 mts to a pool in a natural brook. Rafting tours can be booked next door or via ecochiapas.com. The host family Chambor are very friendly and told us interesting stories about the local history (in Spanish). WiFi is available.
Slightly difficult to find - there is no mobile reception in the Lacandon jungle.
