Great hotel! Easy to get to, close to a couple of stations. Friendly staff, the woman at the front desk who checked me in spoke great English. The room size was what you'd expect for Japanese hotels so no issues there. The room was clean, though the air-con vent was a little dusty, but not to the extent it was a problem. Fresh towels and a bottle of water were delivered every day. There was shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower, but the front desk had a big display of other toiletries you were free to take, like toothpaste, mouthwash, face wash, shaving gel, etc., which was very handy. The 2nd floor had a lounge with free drink machines, coffee, stuff for kids, big chairs and sofas etc. This was a really nice space to chill out for a bit or meet friends/family before leaving. if you were travelling with others. It also has tourist information stuff presented in a playing cards format which is interesting, kids would love it. There's also a restaurant on the 2nd floor, in the morning it serves breakfast and in the afternoon/evening it's an Italian restaurant which is also open to members of the public through a street exit. The breakfast was really good, with the usual sausages/bacon/eggs you get in most Japanese hotels, as well as salad and some more interesting things due to it being an Italian restaurant like pasta, meatballs and so on. You can even have a glass of wine with breakfast if you're on a mad one. The Italian meals in the evening were also nice, I got a salad and spaghetti, the salad was enormous for Japan and the dressing was really good, I think they make it themselves. They had an Indian staff member who spoke English but the Japanese speaking staff were willing to tolerate my poor Japanese also, very friendly. Overall this is a great hotel for visiting Yokohama, very close to Minato Mirai district and the Nogecho restaurant district, and 20 mins walk or 1 train stop to Chinatown.

Honestly, for the price everything was perfect. I've paid more for worse hotels in Japan. Other hotels are closer to the attractions I suppose but it's a lot less hectic here.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent. The location was convenient and made it easy for us to explore Yokohama. We had a wonderful stay.
