Very close to center less then 5 minutes walk
No elevator had to bring our suitcases on the third floor by hand

Self-service checkin . The room was clean and good . Even though was in the middle of the city, the windows were sealed . The A/C helped a lot. We could storage the bikes
The bathroom had the heating on and was a very hot day , we couldn’t turn off. The communication wasn’t very good. We asked questions that took a while to answer and no helpful info. The containers to storage the bikes has no charges. So if you traveling with e-bikes , there is a public charges in the city center ( be aware of it) but not in the hotel .

Fantastic shower in newly appointed bathroom!

TV is wall mounted in a dangerous place - so easy to bang your head on it!
Automatic check in and wasn't easy when tired from travelling.
Air conditioning is either not working and despite translating the instructions from German, we still couldn't get it working.

The room was clean enough, although quite basic. For one night, it was perfectly manageable. The bed was comfortable, which was definitely a positive.
If you are lucky, you may also get a room overlooking the beautiful Lederergasse, with its famous hanging umbrellas, which create a very pleasant and charming atmosphere.
The automated check-in process without any staff assistance is, in our opinion, a major weakness. They would make a much better impression by having a person available to welcome and assist guests. The whole process is unnecessarily complicated and confusing.
The check-out is also unclear. There is a box at the exit where you are supposed to leave the key cards, but then the automated system asks for them again. It is not clear whether all the cards belonging to the family should be returned through the system or whether only the card of the person who made the booking should be returned, with the others left in the box.
The check-in itself is similarly confusing. The receipt provided by the system contains an incorrect Wi-Fi password, which is a small detail but also says a lot about attention to detail and customer care. In fact, we met other guests who were also asking if we knew the correct Wi-Fi password.
Overall, the stay was acceptable for one night, but the automated and confusing procedures significantly affected the experience.
