The well laid out bedrooms with single beds (not bunk beds) and central heating (ex Thermal).
Almost to oneself ( though not helping firms viability).
That the owner would not issue a Gst Invoice, despite I assume it being the law. BBH says one has to get the Gst Invoice from the premises when staying.
Owners view was this was paid overseas, not to him. And he was then concerned he would have to pay the Gst on it, and so he should! (He agreed in discussion that if a cash payment at the office, he would have to.)
However he should at least be prepared to issue an invoice for the share of the room rate he receives from BBH. All I whuanted was the owners Gst number to add to my BBH booking receipt amount.)

This seems the resonsibiliy first of BBH to ensure all business's
signing up for its listing do issue Gst receipts or get delisted from the Site. So not confused!!!!!
Otherwise all parties to contact IRD (Inland Revenue,)to get a new and proper definition of the rules, and have everyone to obey.

Great location, facilities were clean and the kitchen was well stocked!
Some of the mattresses were quite thin, there weren’t that many power points in the dorm room, especially not near bunk beds, so that could be improved. It was very hot, because the heating couldn’t be turned off, and there were no fans or air con, so had difficulty sleeping.

The hostel was a short walk from the bus station and iSite. The dorms had single beds instead of bunks. It was clean and tidy with good kitchen, lounge and dining area.

Staff and facilities were good. Staff are very helpful and everything is well kept.
The person staying in the room was very loud from 12.30-3.30am. He kept banging, couldn't get into his room and he seemed to be intoxicated. We kept getting woken up from his loud banging on the walls and with his door. Wouldn't recommend if you want a good nights sleep.
