I booked my stay three months in advance and got a fantastic deal—great value for the price! The location was ideal: a quiet, local neighborhood with no tourists, just real Turkish life. There are plenty of affordable, authentic restaurants around, where you can enjoy a full meal and ayran for under 120 lira. Shops and cafés stay open until late (around 2 a.m.).
The metro is just a few minutes’ walk away and takes you directly to the old city and major ferry terminals. From there, it’s easy to reach the Asian side or the Princes’ Islands. There's also the metrobus nearby, connecting you to the rest of the city, including the main bus terminal on the Asian side.
The room was basic but had everything I needed: clean, air-conditioned, a mini-fridge, desk, tea set, and private bathroom. For the price, it was more than fair. Staff were very kind and helpful—I’m a solo female traveler and felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. I would definitely come back!
Personally, I didn’t experience any real issues during my stay. On the last day, another guest (also from Italy) was rude to the staff and complained about the area and the hotel. From what I saw, his main problem was that the neighborhood was local and not touristy—something I actually appreciated.
The hotel is simple and you get exactly what you pay for, so if someone is expecting luxury in a budget hotel, they might be disappointed. The only minor inconvenience was a brief power outage one evening, but it affected the entire street, not just the hotel. It wasn’t a big deal at all.

Shop were nearby, as well as the Metro or busses.
Room is really small and we had no place to put our luggage or clothes somewhere. All was crowded I. The room. Bathroom ventilation was loud and there is no smaller light, unfortunately for the room.
No extra charging places, just 1 near bed, and one from the TV.
Towels were old and one was with holes.
