Simply fantastic place to spend several days or longer in Ubud. Our room was cosy and clean, they made the beds every day so we felt like we were in a costly hotel. The host cares like a father for his guests with maximal flexibility and kindness. The rest of the staff we met were also helpful and kind. It was a perfect stay.
The road in a distance of approximately 100 metres is very busy and could be found noisy for someone expecting absolute silence.

Really nice pool and location
I think someone from the staff stole 500k rp (25€) from my wallet but I'm not fully sure since I was drunk

I spent a lovely week at Balimas - the fridge is very convenient and shops and restaurants are nearby. Daily housekeeping was great as well and they got me a great deal for a scooter :)
It's next to one of the busiest roads in Ubud, and the surroundings are very urban and busy. Sadly, the water never turned hot in my room - only lukewarm and the bed & pillows weren't that comfy. But it's again, very conveniently located close to everything and the staff are lovely, so these are minor things to keep in mind.
