The location is incredible. It felt like a very authentic experience. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. 6 could sleep but might feel squished in living spaces. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi reliable. Walking outside in the morning to the bakery for breakfast pastries here is something that should not be missed. Nejmi is great.
It is pretty dark inside. We don't love overhead light and there were no lamps in the living space. However that is just preference. The kitchen needed a few more things like a couple spices and oil maybe. But we had pots and pans and everything else we needed to make simple meals.

Our stay at La Grande Terrine Kougelhopf apartment was absolutely superb! The property itself is superbly located within the fortified area of Kayersberg right above the local stores. With a view of the castle. Spacious and well equipped, we would recommend to anyone looking to experience Alsace.

Excellent location, less than 100m straight line from one of the most photogenic places in Alsace, with a boulangerie open daily, less than 3min away. The place was perfectly equipped for a longer stay with all appliances and stuff one may need.
