Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit angenehm viel Platz und einer sehr ruhigen Lage.

Short business trip to Taupo

Excellent, spacious, clean and well appointed! Great view of the lake and volcanoes, close (5 minute drive) to shops and restaurants. There was a Jacuzzi, which we did not use, as we were travelling for work. The heaters warmed the place up pretty fast and made it nice and cozy. There are four bedrooms - we used only three, so there would be space for more people. Owners are very helpful and respond fast.

Nothing, this is an excellent accommodation.

Beautiful home and a wonderful stay

We had a great stay! Beautiful house. Comfy beds, great hot tub and nice back yard ! Lovely open concept kitchen which was great. We will definitely come back!

We found the bedrooms a bit cold even with the heater on but this didn’t affect our stay ! Also two windows upstairs have a gap even when closed the cold air comes in a bit. Overall an excellent stay!

Comfortable and relaxing despite the disappointment of constant wet, foggy weather.

The weather was very wet and the stairs down to the front of the garage were slippery so a handrail on the left going down to the garage would have been reassuring.

the most wonderful place to stay, we had three families there and were so happy.

this house is spectacular.. huge amount of space, décor sophisticated, comfy lounge, coffee machine, dishwasher… spa, table tennis… everything plus a view

great views of the lake very comfortable beds well presented had everything we needed. washing machine & dryer was excellent and we also loved the BBQ would highly recommend the Lakeview house

We had a nice stay but had to come back a day early to prepare for the storm

No airconditioning in rooms, there was one in the passage but no remote.

Fantastic home away from home, with loads of space and great location.

proximity to Craters of the moon mountain bike park. we biked every day. loved also that we could walk into town. Great view of the lake and sunsets. lovely quiet neighbourhood. layout of the house was great with all the living at one end and the bedrooms at the other end. games room a huge hit with the teenagers.

Mattress in master bedroom needs replacing. No support in the middle causing roll together. It would be nice to have access to a couple of sun loungers in the back garden. We spent a couple of afternoons in the back yard and lay on towels on the grass. Not a necessity but nice to have.

Few touch ups and the place is perfect

The house overall

The spa cover was broken in pieces, stains on the ceiling in the kitchen. Some of the items in the kicthen were missing.

just what we wanted

location. size and all the facilities. it was perfect.

nothing. just wanted to say that the towel rail in the bathroom came loose. we didn’t have a screw driver to fix it.

We had the most wonderful stay and are super impressed with The Lakehouse! Will certainly be back!

Home and location was perfect! We loved the view of the Lake from the lounge and kitchen - so peaceful, relaxing and just beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the home was presented really well, clean and fresh with everything we needed for a fabulous stay. Highly recommend The Lakehouse. We can't wait to be back again soon!

A great house to stay with a group of friends

The house is awesome, so comfortable and modern and the view of the lake was great!

We would have liked to be able to go in the spa but weren’t allowed after 9pm. We thought this was quite early and 10pm would have been better.
