The cabins were adorable and such beach vibes! Spacious and comfortable and very clean. Anita and Roshan took very good care of us. Moreover, Anita actually helped behind the scenes to prepare a birthday surprise for me with my sister. I have booked a one week vacation from the UK and this was the highlight of my trip. We came with 20 of us and none of us were disappointed, we all left very happy! Thank you so much for taking care of us. Any help we needed, either Anita or Roshan were steadfast and prepared. Thank you.
Very little to not like, I have stayed in Trinco before and I would say Mithra hotel is a beautiful place to stay at.

The location is amazing, right at the beach. The vibe of the beach bar is great too. Music, drinks and the food is good!
The rooms need much more love. The outside space is amazing: the flowers, the beach bar, the rooms however: not so clean and a little outdated. With a bit more care this rating could easily go from a 7 to a 9.

We booked 5 nights and stayed 2 more because we loved it so much. We will always remember this place as a home away from home with such friendly and welcoming staff who we will miss (including Sita the dog) and the most beautiful beach setting. It really is a small paradise! Many hammocks, swings and bean bags right on the beach, comfy sundecks, palm trees and other plants, lunch in the garden and dinner on the beach, an amazing beach bar, volleyball sessions in the evenings... There is the possibility of doing snorkelling and dolphin watching tours but we didn't do any because we just loved the hotel/beach so much. Their chef was amazing, he cooked the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast (be sure to pre-order it as it is not always available), curries, biryanis etc. If you want to eat outside the hotel there are some very good options at a walking distance (5min), we especially recommend Ember Table and Mama's Rice and Curry.
We look forward very much to our next stay!
The wifi connection was very weak in the room. As this is the case in many hotels, we recommend getting a big enough data package on your mobile, you can get cheap SIM cards at the airport.

It was right on the beach. Beach is fabulous.
We were the only guests, which wasn’t their fault. All resorts in the area were in the same boat. Staff were surprised to see us, but were sort helpful once we arrived. Very accommodating of anything needed.
