The location was the best aspect of this hotel. Being able to see Sigiriya rock was amazing. Down a quiet road but not too far from restaurants and attractions. The pool was large for the size of the hotel.
The breakfast was ok but very basic. The wall sockets are old English style, which we didn't have an adpator for but our driver was able to help us source one in town.

We didn’t book the BB plan, but after climbing Sigiriya, we decided to have breakfast there. It was fresh and well prepared. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Very friendly staff and comfortable room
The room was not cleaned (even though we specifically requested it through the Booking app). Their explanation was because they couldn’t clean without us being on the property, for security purposes (?), which we never heard in any other hotel.

The manager/owner was exceptionally helpful. The dining room was nice. The big beautiful Rottweiler dog was a joy to see. Parking was good. Ducks frolicking in the small pond. Evening explosions directed at discouraging wild elephants gave a lovely jungle vibe.
The restaurant staff had trouble getting access to the beer fridge and taking payment for meals unless the manager was immediately available.
