Very friendly owner and his family, breakfast was amazing and it's in a beautiful setting. Conveniently placed not far from the centre of town, breakfast is served in a lovely forest garden.
The mattress was not the most comfortable for me

Great location...nice and quiet.
Very helpful organizing transport up rock in early hours....very knowledgeable...good English for us.
We only stayed one night- due to time we had.
Great price.
Huge massive breakfast ( too big for us)
Rooms adequate as per pricing.
We in older units.
Air con good...instruction card be helpful. ( as all a little different).
A great spot shame didn't have more time...
Nothing major...very adequate. , with exception of lighting....as common in many hotels.

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean; excellent facilities especially the bathroom, clearly furnished with the guest in mind. The landscaped garden added to the ambience. A great location too for the many restaurants ( and ATM). A perfect stay!!

We originally planned to stay in Sigiriya for just a couple of days to experience both Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock. However, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of our host and the experience of staying at Yashi’s Place, we decided to extend our stay!
The view of Lion Rock right from my front door was absolutely incredible. Waking up to that sight is something special, and the beauty of this place is hard to put into words.
The elephant safari is an absolute must-do while visiting Sigiriya an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend.
Yashi’s Place offers a delicious menu, and the eating area provides a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of opportunity to mingle with other travellers, share stories and make new friends if you wish. There are also plenty of lovely cafés within easy walking distance, making it a great base for exploring the area.
A big thank you to our host for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. What started as a short visit turned into an extended stay, and that says it all!
Yashi’s Place will definitely be on my list for my next trip to Sri Lanka. An absolute home-stay returner for me! 🇱🇰
