Great view of Sigiriya Rock from the pool, breakfast was amazing, staff are very friendly and even lay the towel out for you by the pool. The service was outstanding. We walked up Sigiriya Rock at sunrise and Pidurangala rock at sunset. The day spa was amazing. The room was very relaxing. The TV was turned in to the documentary channel as we walked in you to the room. I did not change this and fell asleep listening to documentaries from all over the world, best sleep ever.
I’m an Australian and love coffee, coffee was not that great.

Great location with view, breakfast was good. Only food disappointment was that the Sri Lankan food was dumbed down for western tastes. I understand buffets are designed to feed everyone, however I would have liked to tasted Sri Lankan food .

This hotel is gorgeous!! I don’t think the photos do it justice, it’s so much more gorgeous than it looks! The setting is amazing, the staff are exceptionally welcoming kind and helpful and the breakfast is great. Would highly recommend to anyone going to sigiriya. It’s also a great location… close to lots of restaurants and bars (5 min walk down the road). We also had a massage at the spa which was so incredible and amazing value.
