About this cottage rental
Newly renovated Charming Beach Cottage with tongue and groove wood cathedral ceilings, tile bath, new appliances including, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, air conditioner, and washer and dryer located on two beautifully landscaped acres on the Beach. Big glass sliding doors to enjoy view of gardens and Koi pond. The cottage is located on a beach front property, the tide only allows access to the sand when it is low. This is the only rental on the property, but it does share the property with the main house. Pool is private only for cottage renters and house owners. Keep in mind there is no view of the beach from the cottage, the gulf view is a short 1 minute walk on the property.
The gulf is great for swimming, surf casting, watching sunsets, porpoises or just relaxing. Rental of bikes, boats, kayaks are in town a short 1 mile ride or walk to Siesta Key Village. The famous siesta key white sand public beach is 1.5 miles from the cottage.

The cottage itself was very cute and very clean had no complaints about that. The only thing I wish the property was kept up. The grass wasn't mowed. The weeds weren't taken care of, and the ponds were not working properly and very dirty. I spent most of my outdoor time trying to clean around the area and the pool area. I know I didn't have to, but that's just the way that I felt too better spend my time. I don't like looking at that. The view of the property was very nice and very quiet. The choice to have from the pool to the ocean was very cool that we did like a lot was just unsure of the main house behind us. I don't know why but it made us feel a little uncomfortable with cars coming in and out of there and nobody really spoke to us. We really wanted just a private vacation but for some reason, we just felt like we were always being watched.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time in this adorable cottage. Loved putting our chairs in the water below the sea wall! Cottage was close to everything we needed, beach, shopping and restaurants! Highly recommend! Thank s Ilene! Gary & Nancy-MA

The cottage is so cute and has been recently renovated. It was perfect for my husband, myself and two dogs. Beautiful sunsets and lots of pool time!

The property and location were not what we expected. The Cottage was quaint but very small and access to the beach was across the owner’s property with a small beach area. Overall area was residential and very congested. Due to terrible rains and flooding of the our area, we checked out 3 days early with no return of any portion of the payment and we had to pay for a separate condo in another location.
We found the owner to be very nice and interesting.
