Absolutely delightful property. We were more than pleased with everything, the property, the management, the location and the area.
Very peaceful location, 15m easy walk to Zakros archaeological site and an easy drive to the beach, well worth the horrible drive across from Siteia to get there.
The cabin, one of three in a shared structure, had as shown in the pictures a private little balcony (the other cabins faced in other directions, so it was private), a very tiny kitchen and single bed in the front room, which was divided from the back bedroom by a curtain, and the bathroom off the back of the main bedroom. The pictures are a faithful representation of what you get. Everything worked, was clean, and thoughtfully laid out. We particularly liked the rustic decor.
It was old fashioned, so the shower had a curtain not a screen, the a/c was old and the cooker was a small detached unit. But, it was all very comfortable. The towels and bedding and toiletries were very full-some and generous, as were the kitchen supplies. I particularly liked the spare pillows, the kitchen paper and the mosquito nets on all the windows, which were really needed! If sitting out at dawn or at night bring mosquito spirals. And the bed was large and comfortable.
The outside was green, with lots of shade trees; beautifully arranged, with chairs, tables and hammocks. Just like the photos. The view was gorgeous, especially at dawn watching the sun coming up over the sea was a definite highlight, despite the many bites we suffered.
There is good parking for about four cars at the front of the property. You have to reverse out, but that was easy. The road is roughly paved for the last little bit, but well sign posted and perfectly good if taken slowly.
The manager was polite, came quickly and even made a call to verify the opening times of the archaeological site for us.

Perfect location, very quiet and peaceful. Clean and tidy rooms, with interesting decor, a big balcony, and equipped with everything needed. Easy check-in through a phone at the reception desk.

The location is truly wonderful.
I booked based on the high recommendations of other customers, but we were disappointed: rather hard bed and not made when we arrived (except for bottom sheet and pillows), no noise insulation (we can hear the neighbours talk and use the bathroom), very slow shower drainage, no washing machine in studio as advertised but 7€ for the wash. None of this a problem of course, but not as advertised.
