A bit of a climb up the hill but pays off with a great view

The view is beautiful and the family is really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The access to the house/room is a bit of a challenge. Very steep path and steep, narrow stairs. The bathroom needs some maintenance.

Top Unterkunft mit nettem Personal!

Das Personal war extrem nice! Hat mir gute Tipps gegeben und auch ein Tuk Tuk bestellt, um schnell genug zum Bahnhof zu gelangen. Die Kommunikation über WhatsApp hat sehr gut funktioniert! Es war die bisher sauberste Unterkunft, die ich in Sri Lanka hatte. Der Ausblick war auch sehr schön.

Ich habe mit earplugs geschlafen, weswegen es für mich kein Problem war, aber der nahe Fluss und das Morgengebet könnte für Leute ein wenig störend beim Schlafen sein.

Na krótki wyjazd okej

Fajna lokalizacja obiektu. Cisza, spokój, a 10 min pieszo jesteśmy w centrum miasta. Przepiękny widok z tarasu. Możliwość pozostawienia bagaży przed zameldowaniem.

Niestety było brudno. Pościel i ręczniki miały ślady użytkowania i nie było to komfortowe używanie. Na minus również brak moskitiery, bo wszędzie roiło się od mrówek, meszek i karaluchów.

Nice family owned place

Very comfortable room with large terrace and with amazing view. It’s possible to order a dinner and breakfast- both were super tasty!

Location is up in the hills. Around 20-25min walk to the train station. Be aware of the dogs on the way to this place- one of the dogs attacked me twice:(

Host is very friendly and helpful. She helped us to prepare our instant meals without any hesitation. They care about their guests. Locals also welcomed warmly. And place was clean. Really worth for money. Environment is calm.

Coolest girls ever!

Amazing time in Kandy, thanks to these guests. I had so much fun with the girls that own and run this place, they made ms feel like at home! If you want to visit temples and closest spot, ask them and you probably will enjoy also their company! Do not miss cooking class! Nice room and very clean. Thanks madames!

nice for a night

The room had a beautiful view of the city, was clean and ready. The host was very nice.

The location is up the hill and it’s a steep walk to the house and then many stairs. The wifi as everywhere in Sri Lanka was bad. at night time can get cold and we had only one bed sheet to cover which wasn’t enough. it would be nice if there was a blanket.

Great place and nice people!

The room was very nice and comfortable. The location is pretty good, in a quiet area and the vjew is very nice from the balcony. Hot water in the shower and good wifi (considering Sri Lankas overall wifi). The family who owns the place is great, very nice and helpful, good english too.

The soundproofing could be better, although is nice to hear the waterfall that goes along the homestay and which you can see from the balcony.

Very good place and amazing host. Everything was absolutely clean. They served a light breakfast and dinner at last night. A big terrace with view to city. One of amazing thing it's a small waterfall nearby, you can heard it everytime.

Lovely waterfall next to the guesthouse, hearing it all night makes sleeping beautiful. Beds are confortable Hosts helped in anything that was requested Room clean, breakfast good, good view

Its a bit uphill, this shouldnt be an issue if you are ok with taking tuktuk to center each time. Just be aware that most drivers don't know where it is so keep the guesthouse number at hand so they can call the hosts and then they explain the way to get there.

Great place just as you want it. Location is good, view is awesome, and the host family is sweet

Super helpful host. They made breakfast really early for us so we could catch the early train. We didn’t spent much time at the home stay but the view was splendid.

A bit far from the station, because it is one the mountain.

Lovely room and very clean, the terrace looks out across Kandy. Bit of a hike up so if you have heavy bags maybe get a tuktuk from the station. Friendly host family.

We had a really beautiful time here. The hosts were so friendly, the food were amazing and we had a wonderful view from our balcony. They have a dog (and I’m a little bit afraid) and they take much care about this. Thank you so much!

Superb

Amazing homemade breakfast! The owners have been extremely friendly and helpful in everything! Location is a bit off the city center, but only 10-15 minutes walking downhill to the lake and the view of the city from the terrace is beautiful!

The rooms’ walls are quite thin - it can be quite noisy (depending on other guests)

The best place to stay in Kandy :)

This family run homestay was incredible. The family who runs it went out of their way to make us comfortable and helped us to organize our trip to Ella. They were super kind! The view from the terrace is wonderful, the location is perfect and the breakfast was lovely. Everything was perfect. I would recommend anyone to stay here :)
