About this house rental

Nestled in Traverse City, this attractive house for $189 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. 1896 Victorian home, completely remodeled for today's comfort, but the historic charm remains. For your peace of mind, we take our cleaning seriously. Nice front lawn for the kids to play or to spend relaxing evenings with a glass of wine. Central location within a few blocks walking or biking distance to West Bay beaches, Downtown Traverse City, TART Trail, the dog park, and the Historic State Hospital grounds. Conveniently located near West Side Beverage, known for their vast selection, Slab Town Burgers, and a brew pub opening across the street in the summer of 2022. The two story house features a great kitchen, stocked with any tools you may need, including a gas grill on the deck. The three bedrooms all have wall-mounted flat screen TVs with comfortable beds (queen, queen, bunk bed with a full below, twin on top plus a pull-out twin trundle). The living room couch is a super comfy sectional. There is a beautiful full bath with a double vanity, rainfall shower, soaking tub, plus a half-bath upstairs. Other amenities include cable, WiFi, full-size washer and dryer, central air conditioning, a full-basement with a work-out area, and private parking. Great for families! Great food, great shopping, and fun entertainment. We do have a three night minimum stay, except in our high-demand month of July which requires a six night minimum stay. We do welcome one dog with an additional fee of $25 per night. You must check the pet box when booking. We are on-sight owners and if you bring a dog without checking the box, the price doubles. We understand the desire to have all of your family members with you on vacation, but there is additional wear and tear, extra cleaning, and yard maintenance required. Please know that we have added two additional rental properties right next door that can be found at VRBO 2204221 and 3954989. These beautiful condos are each 1300 square feet with spacious two-bedroom, two-bath open concept floor plans. They both have a large, 12'x12' covered balcony for enjoying a cocktail or two:)

It’s a lovely, very well appointed Victorian house in a super convenient location with a host who responds almost immediately to concerns. It’s a great neighborhood on a the old west side of TC where you will enjoy walking your dog! The house has a master bedroom (with very comfortable mattress) on the main level along with a large bathroom with both a shower and deep tub for soaking. It has a very nice large, modern, well-stocked kitchen with all of the amenities. There is a very nice covered front porch with seating for 5 and a back door patio with gas grill, table with sun umbrella and seating for 4. The only down side for seniors is the lack of hand rails on basement stairs (where the washer-dryer are located), and lack of grab bar in shower. Also, I’m 5’2” and I had to use a step stool to mount the very tall bed in the master bedroom.

Enjoyed the stay here with family for a wedding. The home was a perfect location for a short walk to town, or quick visit to brewery across Front Street. The house was clean, comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Perfect for 6 adults.

We had a great time at a great property. Beautifully updated house with all the nice amenities we were looking for. Very convenient walking distance to downtown area, several restaurants and breweries. The party store next door was a nice bonus after our long drive up from southeast Michigan area. It had begun raining and we didn’t really want to drive out for food. They had very comprehensive beer and wine choices to cover us plus really good pizza allowing us to stay in for a relaxing evening. We really recommend Tom’s property!

This spot was perfect for our group! We (a large group of friends) were in town to celebrate our dear friends' wedding.The house was absolutely perfect for resting between the many events of the weekend. We loved the fully stocked kitchen, proximity to local eating spots, and the two porches for spending time outside. It was such a perk to have access to beach towels and chairs as well. Tom and Jennifer were super responsive and kind.10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone!

This was a wonderful house for my family (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 tweens) in Traverse City. The neighborhood was quiet AND we were close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. We were also able to take day trips to lighthouses, Mackinac Island, and Sleeping Bear Dunes and having this comfortable and relaxing home to come back to was a delight.

We had a great stay here! It was clean and comfortable, and had anything we needed. There was also plenty of space for all of us. And the hosts were easy to communicate with if we needed them. This was our second time staying here and we hope to return, we would definitely recommend staying here!

We did not want to leave a good review so it could be our secret get away. The property and hosts were amazing!! Went for a long weekend to tube and hike. 4 adults, 2 kids ages 10 and 12. Great location and the house had a lot of room to hang out. Kitchen fully equipped.

This house is central to everything. Super clean, spacious and well stocked, walking distance to downtown, water, restaurants and the commons. Are family of 5 adults were very comfortable and never felt like we were crowed. Would highly recommend.

Our friends stayed here while visiting us in TC this summer and it was perfect for their family of 5 (including a pack n play for the baby)! Tom was super responsive to messages and made the whole process very easy. We love slabtown and its proximity to downtown, the beach, and of coirse Slabtown burger. :)
