Located in Antigua and Barbuda, this lovely villa for $129 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This pristine villa is located on the North Finger of Jolly Harbour, situated on the South West coast of Antigua, only a few minutes walk to the quiet and secluded North Beach. This villa offer unobstructed views down the cancel and out to the marina entrance. Set over two floors, the villa has three bedrooms one on the ground floor that features en-suite and two larger bedrooms on the second floor both with s refurbished en-suite bathrooms with showers. Both bedrooms have been tastefully furnished throughout. One has twins beds and the master a queen bed. The lower floor is open plan with a newly tiled countertop and a fully equipped modern kitchen, dining area and lounge. From the lounge there are large sliding doors leading out to the extended decking perfect for the sun lovers to relax and enjoy. There deck also has a covered area great for outside dining. The deck sits over the water and features a finger pier that would house a 45ft boat. The property has ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout cable TV and internet. The villa is well furnished and great for a family get away Jolly Harbour sits on over 300 acres of park-like land and is the largest man-made marina in the Eastern Caribbean. Amenities include an 18-hole golf course and club house, Olympic sized swimming pool, tennis and squash court supermarket, banks, pharmacy, numerous bars and restaurants and 24-hour security.

We originally picked this unit in the jolly harbor development because it listed a pool. However after arriving and signing for pool passes with the agents from absolute Antigua properties we were kindly informed by development management and people who reside in the development that the pool had been closed for at least 3 months. We booked a month in advance of our trip so the staff was well aware there was no pool even though it was listed. When we request a partial refund or pool passes to the jolly harbor resort we were told no and ignored by Stacy when we asked to speak with her regarding that and the additional issues. Antigua is 92 degrees, units without pools are half the price. After checking in we did go food shopping and upon waking the next day to cook breakfast we went to pull the pans out from the bottom drawers which were filled with roaches. They did bring roach spray as a courtesy. But I’m not on vacation to handle a homes roach problem and wash all of their cookware. We did spray in the cabinets and around the fridge and by the next day we were finding dead roaches on the kitchen floor. With all that being said the unit is spacious, the deck is nice to sit on but does house about 12-15 stray cats from the marina loop. If you don’t mind them, you kind of just hang with them. The Ac and bathrooms generally worked properly. For the unit to be an actual great space, they could just take care of the roaches before arrivals!

Very easy to book and communicate about - Stacy at Absolute Properties was always quick to respond and always very helpful. She organised airport taxis and some car hire. We had a small issue with our hire car and she personally came out and helped us out. Security on the whole compound is very good, no concerns at all anyway with safety.

The property could do with some updating, there wasn’t enough chairs for all 5 of us to sit on an evening inside. The swing that was up broke and the chain on one side fell on one of our friends, this needs to be replaced for Health and Safety reasons, I will say that when we told the management they did come and have a look, but we had to take it down, as again it was just left hanging to one side. I will say the views were great, and the local cats are friendly and love to be fed.

This was our second visit to Jolly Harbour a few doors down from last time. The view of the open water was better than expected and had the bonus of a barbecue that wasn’t on the original listing. The only improvement would be an awning or some other mechanism to get some shade on the patio at lunchtime.

We expected a clean and comfortable place to stay which was of a standard suitable for paying guests. The inside had been cleaned but the overall impression was one of neglect. The kitchen was dated with an ancient stove that had issues with the heating coils. The sitting area was acceptable but was spoiled by the addition of ugly lamps which appeared to be from another era. The bedroom linens were old, mismatched and worn. Two of the towels were so threadbare that one literally tore when I wrapped it around my head. The seat cover in the twin room was completely worn through . At the back of the villa, the outside space facing the water has been extended with attractive decking; and this section is the best part of the property. Unfortunately, the dining area immediately outside the sliding doors before the decking begins is in a sorry state.-it is gritty and grimy with mouldy flower pots containing either a dead plant or nothing at all. All of that together with empty flower beds is depressing to look at. The chair swing needs to be removed as the seat cushions keep falling through being supported only be some flimsy damp hardboard which sits on the metal frame. The masonry paint around this outdoor dining area is peeling and there are large mouldy patches on it in many places. Returning to this accommodation after a day at the beach or elsewhere did not fill any of us with joy. Having just returned from a pristine property elsewhere which we also found through Vrbo made me realize just how badly maintained and appointed this villa was.

Views were spectacular. The villa was clean and comfortable. Management was very professional and helpful in every way. Very courteous and always ready to assist in making our stay an enjoyable one. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends.

3 of us stayed in this sleeps-5 condo, and that was just right. Stacy the manager was very, very helpful. Location at the head of the "North Finger" gave a beautiful view of the water and the island. Maintenance man showed up immediately for a plugged bathroom sink drain :) Very good value. A few chintzy things--we had to buy our own toilet paper and garbage bags. A few maintenance details were not fixed: the air conditioner in the twin-bed room upstairs did not cool the screen to the wonderful deck was off the track and barely hanging in its frame 2 burned out light bulbs when we arrived--were we supposed to replace those? one bedside lamp had a broken switch and needs to be replaced a bedside outlet was not firmly attached to the wall and did not charge my phone Gated community, so it's very safe. 5 feral cats visited us. Fun. A bullfinch also visited us every day.
