Simon (the host) was great. He very kindly collected us from the station and dropped us off at the trailhead the next day. The room was clean, traditional Japanese and very well maintained. Simon explained how to use everything very well. Communication before the stay about pick up and bringing food was excellent

Simon and his wife are welcoming and helpful. They were the perfect people to greet us on our arrival to Japan and they provided a great start to our hike.
