Nice place for pooltime

+ big Appartements with kitchen + nice pool area + good security service - good for people who wants to escape the rush, but for us a bit far from the center (5-10min tuktuk) and beach (5min walk). But you can reach everything with a tuktuk easily - at some parts you can see, that the complex is not brand new, but everything works well Just to know: It got no restaurant. But backpackers (next door) is an very good option. All in all, we were very happy :)

Lovely and amazing place

My boyfriend and me loved the apartment. It was very big and very beautiful decored. The gardens and pool were calm and amazing and we had a great time in this hotel. Everything was super clean, sustainable and the staff was very helpful. Incredible hot water what sometimes is not common in Kenya. The relation quality VS price it really overcome our expectations. We would totally recommend this hotel and hope to come back.

Nice place but needs some TLC....

The apartment was large and airy. It was beautifully decorated and had air conditioning which is essential as it does get quite humid and hot. The staff were very welcoming. Cleaning was done regularly.

Some fixtures in the apartment we stayed needed updating or repair. One bathroom kept clogging and flooding the whole area which then got slippery. Also there was ongoing construction at the property which we were only notified about with such a short notice before the stay therefore we had put up with a lot of noise and the smell of fresh paint.

Value for money if you don’t mind being not to close to the beach

The asset, the maintenance, the materials, the very pleasent staff, the quality and dimension of the apartment, the many details around

It was a bit far away from Diani road and to tve beach. The path to Diani Road could welcome a bit of road improvements….

A lovely place to stay

Spacious apartments, lovely pool, friendly staff and the giant tortoise pet was an added extra.

Our apt B2 was lovely but the kitchen was a bit dated and the air conditioning in the back bedroom leaked dreadfully.

It was worth all the dime!

Staff were very friendly, place was clean and quiet. They linked us to genuine people who took us to all activities. I felt so secure inside the property.

Superb

It is a very nice, secure and comfortable place.

During our stay, the bar was closed due to renovation. Also, there was renovation going on on the roof exactly above our apartment, so it was noisy all day. - It would be fair to write this in the description and let potential guests know before booking/arrival.

Exceptional

Extremely friendly and polite staff. We sadly were a little short in time, and the staff immediately offered us to extend our check-out, which helped us tremendously. The premises were clean, functional and very comfortable. The beds were exceptional.

Superb

The room was very big and very comfortable. The pool and gardens were very beautiful and comfortable. The rooms had everything you need. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

There was no bar or restaurant, although I know they are making a rooftop restaurant in July. There was nothing else that we did not like.

No bar or food on-site. Though backpackers next door is the closest.

Amani is tranquil, luxurious, private & safe.

We went with a group of friends, but all others rented private villas around the area. Yes, they had it much cheaper, but none of their properties came even close to how nice Amani was. It's a super safe site with high walls, double gates and round the clock security. I felt safer than I feel at home. Really beautiful property, staff are very attentive and it was mostly very quiet at the pool.

I had a pleasant weeks stay at Amani.

Nice large front room with air-con, so it felt quire roomy. Room and apartment was as expected as I had seen many u-tube videos showing inside and outside. No issues with the kitchen or appliances everything worked fine. The pool is not too cold, would have been even better with a poolside bar. The apartment block itself is not on the beach side but the walk down to the beach is not OK, about 5-10 min walk. Once the locals get to know you they will eventually leave you be and stop trying to sell you stuff. Thanks to Mr Boli who took us to & from the airport and on a couple of excursions, he was a very useful chap to know. Many many thanks also to the staff and security who helped me out when I became ill and had to visit the local hospital.

The dirt road outside is awful and made coming and going from the apartment an ordeal. Not Amani's fault but it did spoil the stay a little bit. The apartments will be much better when the upstairs restaurant and bar is ready for use. Having a choice of doing your own cooking or eating in the restaurant upstairs will be so nice.

Comfortable place for long stays

My 2 weeks stay was an amazing experience ! The appartment is well furnished, spacious and super comfortable. They provide everything we neef, Good value for money for this standing. Cleaning is made everyday. Amani is secured, safe and located 10 min away from the beach by feet. Hot shower, homemade soap & shampoo, kitchen perfectly equipped, comfy terrace, loving loving room... The staff is welcoming & friendly. Michael (Mike) the Manager is super professional and has been a great help during all my trip. The common area is well maintained, the pool is pretty warm.

No supermarket at a close distance...need to take a tuk tuk

The Apartments are beautiful, clean with amazing service from Michael. Airport shuttle was arranged to pick up from Mombasa, and also a cab was arranged when I wanted to go somewhere. Overall this is the best place to stay, it comes with great service. The 1 bedroom apartment is big enough for 1-4 people, & very clean.

It would be nice if they had a bar/kitchen at the reception area.
