Hilltop, modern accomodation

I likеd: ✅ the view of the sea from the bedroom window; ✅ the comfortable bed with nice smelling, clean sheets; ✅there is everything you might need during your stay; ✅ friendly and helpful host;

I didn't like the hilltop location, although the hole city is on hills. The huge mistake that can be made is to decide to go to the apartment from the central bus station on foot with your luggage. It is very important to take Bolt or Uber - never try to go on foot with the luggage - you will regret it 100 times. The right way is to go from Iva Vojnovica str. behind hotel Lero, the other way of reaching on foot is a nightmare.

Superb

Super comfy, incredible view of ocean and sky. Loved the location - about 15 kin walk to old city but in a quiet area away from crowds, lots of good restaurants at reasonable prices around and buses if you prefer (i walked everywhere). Niko and valentina were extremely helpful and welcoming, let me use the flat after checkout for a late flight and even gave a lift to the airport, couldn't ask for more

Great apartment with everything needed for a pleasant stay

Friendly host, great communication, fully equipped kitchen and pretty apartment with great views and location. Flexibility with check in and out !

truly fantastic

the property was super clean, it was very conveniently located, close to everything we needed. the price was good, very agreeable. host provided with coffee and tea which was a nice touch. the host was also super pleasant and helpful with lots of useful tips and tricks.

i have no complaints!!

Highly recommend for a week stay in Dubrovnik

Very kind host (Niko) and his mother Valentina. We were impressed. They made sure we have everything we need during our stay in Dubrovnik and provided some extra stuff. Appartment has (like advertised) a window with sea view and your view is even nicer because of the high position (on the top of a small hill). A excellent beach is just 7 min away from the appartment (Bellevue). You can wash and dry your clothes in the appartment. We had supermaket and bus station in the area (4 to old town), buses do not come so often tough, you can walk in max 20 min. Air conditioning does not flow directly in the sleeping room, comes from kichen (we appreciated that as we do not like very strong and direct AC)

There are some stairs to climb until you reach the appartment (but this is a general thing in Dubrovnik) At least the taxi can pick you up near the building.

Amazing!!!

Niko is an amazing host and goes above and beyond and always responded promptly to messages. Collected me from the airport at no extra cost, The apartment looked even better than the photo's. Spacious, clean and fresh smelling with a wonderful view. The apartment had all the facilities you would need for a comfortable stay. Good wi-fi and premium TV with English channels and a comfortable bed. I didn't get to use the kitchen but it had everything you needed for self catering. The location is perfect in a quiet residential street , the Dutch lady next door was very friendly. It is a 20 minute walk to the old town, and about the same to Lapad which has two large supermarkets and a nice beach as well as the marina for boat trips. A restaurant downstairs, and a bakery and supermarkets not far away. I had a wonderful stay, and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this apartment again. Thank you Niko for being such a good host!

Excellent

Niko is such a great host, very attentive and concerned for our wellbeing. We had a lovely time. The location is also excellent, being within walking distance from both the Old City and Lapad beach (there's also a lovely little beach called Bellevue about 6 minutes walk from the apartment). It was nice to be close enough from everything, but still on a quiet, residential area for sleeping at night. The view is also gorgeous. Perfect holiday.

Amazing view

The apartment was extremely comfortable and luxurious. It had all the facilities you required. The bed was very comfortable, I slept so well The view was amazing from the balcony. The location is perfect, steps away from the Riva and 15 mins walk to the bus station and ferry terminals. Would definitely stay again!

Great place in Dubrovnik

Niko was super friendly and attentive and picked us up at the bus station. Apartment is not that close to old town but given its Dubrovnik for us was perfect. Very large, with kitchen. Great Bosnian restaurant downstairs.

Amazing!

Niko was so friendly. He kept us a parking spot, while parking is a disaster. He had a lot of handy recommendations. The apartment is spacious and it is about a 15 minutes walk to the city center, but an Uber is also very cheap if you don’t feel like it in the heat. Sunset beach is also quite close!

Comfy nice apartment

Very good apartment, and everything works fine including wifi, shower and airco. I also liked the location, comfy bed and the reserved parking spot. The owner Niko is very friendly and offers his help if necesarry. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Awesome city, great room

Room is great, plenty of space with a small kitchen and a nice view. Niko is very nice, he kept a parking spot for our arrival and waited us with o bottle of wine free of charge, he gave a few hints how to visit the city.

Perfect Apartment with the Amazing Host!

I enjoyed in my stay with Velvet Apartments Dubrovnik. Everything was good without any problems. Apartment is nicely decorated even the Christmas tree was placed just to set the right Christmas feeling. Also I loved the bed which was extremely comfortable. Niko the host kept the parking space for me which was really nice. Communication was easy going and the host is going extra and beyond with the service provided. I recommend Velvet Apartments for perfect stay in Dubrovnik!

The greatest experience with booking so far!

Apartment is comfortable and fully equipped. It feels like home away from home. Amazing view with exceptional location. Niko, the host is excellent and goes above and beyond to give as much help needed and had been available to assist at all time. I will definitely recommend this apartment to my family and friends back home. I absolutely loved my short stay and I’m looking forward to visiting again hopefully very soon!

Best apartment in Dubrovnik / super 10 host Niko

Amazing host in a good way really a good communication and support. Place clean , very good bed, local neighborhood , close to everything literally ( from the perspective you like to walk) also for take taxi Uber easy from the apartment. AC perfect WiFi good Clean and practical place Close to the port/ close to Bellevue Luxor hotel beach / supermarket and restaurant close / The best is the support from Niko.
