The breakfast was devine . A wonderful refuge in an enchanted setting! The hosts are generous kind people.

The hosts were very welcoming Since they had a cancellation our room was upgraded to the Redwood suite which was fantastic. There’s a short hike beside a mossy stoned creek that takes you up to private waterfall with a treehouse suite that is available to rent. The breakfast we were served in the morning was outstanding.

Country house B&B well off the busy highway, very friendly hosts, plenty of facilities.

The host is very accommodating and very pleasant. Breakfast was spectacular which is a rarity now in America. Lots of facilities, washing machines, dryers, snooker table air hockey.

We thought from the photograph we were booking into a small boutique hotel with a bar, it is a family home with lots of facilities, but no bar, there only seems to be one local restaurant which was difficult to find, In fact we never did find it. The town is poor to think of a better word. A lot of Highway 101 coast road is very rundown, dirty towns, not the sort of place you want to stay, Taylor Creek is slightly off the Highway 101 and is by far the best place to stop unless roadside motels are your thing. Unfortunately, for us Europeans Highway 101 it’s not the Californian dream it’s portrayed as

Very pleasant and welcoming and unique.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the set-up and how everything was laid out. I felt very welcomed and all my questions were answered. I loved the free S'mores.

The best surprise of our trip

Amazing Lodge stay close to Gold Beach. We stayed only one night (but would have loved to stay longer) and so enjoyed Dale‘s hospitality, the lovely property’s surroundings, fire, hammock, kids area, animals, amazing breakfast.

Great place, but poor host decisions in place

Beautiful comfy room.

Don’t call yourself a bed and breakfast if breakfast isn’t included in the price. $22 a person additional charge for breakfast is steep. You’re talking almost $90 a morning for a family of 4 to have breakfast. And you’re not exactly close to town for alternatives. On the principle of it all, we went ahead and went to town for breakfast for a lot cheaper. Don’t insult the people’s intelligence with calling yourself a “bed & breakfast”, when you know it should be included in the room charge. Also asking for money to be put in an envelope for the maid who is going to college to be a massage therapist, and not daily turning over the rooms…..seems like you’re asking us to pay for getting the rooms ready for your next rental. Seems like that should be your responsibility as the hosts. Both these moves seemed low class to us, especially for such a beautiful place and property.

Can’t wait to return with my family!

Fabulous farm setting, wonderful hosts and delicious breakfast. Our room was lovely and really enjoyed all the amenities including s’mores by the fire, visiting the gorgeous waterfall and chatting with the other guests. Rachel and Dale have thought of everything!

Dale was very personable and had the best stories to tell us while visiting!

We actually didn't buy breakfast, but brought our own. We felt that $22 a person was too pricey.

stay here if tired of typical hotel chains

great owners, charming B&B atmosphere. great game room with air hockey and pool countless board games and books, indoor and outdoor movies, roaring campfire with s'mores, horses, ducks, chickens and goats, full breakfast available. full kitchen with all cooking appliances- even popcorn and snow one! lovely grounds with lights. perfect for weddings, small groups. comfy beds; bathrobes

a bit off the highway but worth it for the amenities and grounds! knob on heater was broken

the breakfast was very well done. everything well cooked, but not overcooked. our room and bed were very comfortable. the bathroom had everything i needed. bathtub was very nice

Loved the beautiful setting, the space and chatting with our hosts!

Family suite was great, and access to the shared kitchen and games room was the icing on the cake! It was nice to have a little space on a road trip with a lot of family togetherness!

The hists were friendly and welcoming. I have a gluten allergy and asked the host not to include me for breakfast crepes. She asked me why and when I explained, she made me gluten free crepes instead. The property is cozy and relaxing.

The better question is what didn't I like??? NOTHING! I didn't want to leave. Already making plans to go back. The rooms were beyond what I imagined and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Hidden wonder

Amazing staff, Gorgeous room, amenities, and grounds!

Facilities were gorgeous and clean, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, staff treated me like family and had the best recommendations, and the breakfast was delicious! I plan on coming back mostly because of this place!
