The property was very clean as well as very homey. It had a lot of antique furniture and beautiful christmas decor.

I loved everything. The food was great, the staff were great. everything was exceptional!

Gorgeous place and great service!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The Imn was gorgeous and decorated beautifully for Christmas. Breakfast was delicious.

There could have been some music played in the common areas at night. It was pretty but not a place people hung out or mingled. Music could help make it more inviting. They did play music at breakfast though. Bed was too soft, maybe needed a box spring or something.

A short getaway to see the fall foliage!

Mayors Mansion is beautiful! It’s pretty close to town and easy to find. The rooms are gorgeous. I wish we could have gotten a room with a king sized bed instead if two fulls.

There’s no way to regulate the air in your room. I’m glad we went when we did, I can’t imagine it in the summer.

Would not recommend or stay again

The building was lovely, staff was very nice and the heated toilet seat and bidet was wonderful

I was expecting more for breakfast. It was nothing special and I probably would have had a better breakfast at home. We left after and went to a restaurant to eat. The bed was really uncomfortable. We didn't sleep well

Romantic relaxation with good eats.

Love the Mayors Mansion, it was beautiful inside and out. The room and bathroom were spacious and we enjoyed the robes. The bed was soft and comfy, the breakfast was super delicious and the cookies put out at night were to die for!

Everything was great, my only suggestion would be to provide blackout blinds/curtains for the windows and to try and seal the door a bit as light does come in through it. But really those are minor!

Great location, beautiful house, but we should have asked for a room upgrade. Breakfast was great.

The historic neighborhood was beautiful with easy access to the city center, the house is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. Sabrina, who served us breakfast, was very friendly and helpful.

No one was in the reception area to check us in. A guest passing by let us in the door and we found the number to call for assistance. After a few minutes, someone came to check us in. When she showed us the room, I remarked that we had quite a bit of luggage to carry in from the car and haul up to the third floor (no elevator). She did not offer a room on a lower floor, but I should have asked for one. Although there were very few overnight guests the night we stayed, we were put in a small third floor garret room with little ventilation but for the huge floor fan we found in the closet. It was somewhat loud but at least gave us some moving air. Thank you for putting the fan in the room.

Very beautiful, comfortable and affordable. Staff was wonderful!

The breakfast was delicious with several courses. Very beautifully displayed and delicious. Location was close to everything and quiet.

A thermostat in our room. We like sleeping in cooler temperature. It was a little too warm for our liking.

Beautiful house, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast

The staff was very friendly, the house was very beautiful and prepared well for guests; the instructions were clear and we were comfortable on site. Having the options of different juices was a nice bonus.

The drive through the neighborhood - not including UTC campus - was a little sketchy, but that cannot be helped.

The mansion is very nice, lot of common areas, is like living in the past, there as free cookies, soft drinks and the room in very nice, big and comfortable. Free parking. Don't expect a luxurious hotel, this is an historic place, no modern lux, but an historic luxurious atmosphere and attention to the guests. Breakfast is amazing and served on the table, in a fabulous room...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was absolutely beautiful

Breakfast was outstanding.

Bed in 31 was too worn. The toilet flush kept falling off to where we had to open thank kid and fix with each flush.

Breakfast was outstanding. The food and the staff were excellent. Hotel staff was very friendly, too. Room was great, and the furnishings were very nice. Lots of "home-style amenities".

Porch was lovely.

I was in the room with the fire escape open to everyone. The room with the bed and bathroom was a makeshift room that locked People entered the other part of the room at 12 midnight checking out the fire escape.

Sabrina was sweet, nice, and professional. The food was amazing! The house was absolutely beautiful. You could feel the history as soon as you walk in.

Can’t control the individual room’s temperature but given the old house, this is not the management’s fault. Found a few hairs not mine on the bathroom floor.

Nice place, terrible manager.

Beautiful older home. Breakfast was exceptional!

Manager was not clear on communicating policy 3 months beforehand for 3 travelers in a room with 2 queen beds. Called me the DAY BEFORE, while I was already on vacation with a long car trip planned including Chattanooga, and gave me the 3rd degree because she couldn’t remember our previous discussion until I reminded her that I talked directly to her. Even then I wound up with a surprise additional charge, and a partial credit for a future stay. And I live a 1000 miles away! Don’t trust the management!

Our stay was very pleasant.

it is a beautiful house. It’s well maintained with a very helpful and polite staff. The room was quiet and comfortable with all the amenities necessary and then some. We liked the fresh cookies and the tea, coffee and complimentary sodas too. The breakfast was delicious and nutritious with fresh ingredients. A great experience. Thank you for a very nice stay at a top notch B&B.

The best of Chattanooga

Having stayed here before, we have always enjoyed the hospitality, the original antiques, the late night snacks, and the hospitality of the staff. Perfect location right near the city, but far enough away for great views. You won't find a better place in Chattanooga!
