Dream stay!

Everything! The decor and attention to detail was stunning. The location atop the hill overlooking the valley of St Sauveur, and hearing the bells till on Sunday morning, was gorgeous. We walked into town for dinner (an easy twenty mins) and biked the next morning for coffee (five mins). The breakfast was decadent and delicious, and the hosts warm and kind. We will definitely be back!

The coffee wasn't quite up to our standards and it would have been nice to have some healthier options at breakfast, but we still found the meal wonderful

Truly charming experience

This place was so charming and comfortable. It exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were amazing. We enjoyed our time there and the host was wonderful. We will definitely return.

Very good location, very close to St-Sauveur centre ville.

We liked the small transition room between bedroom and bathroom with reading nook. The Bedroom décor is really nicely done. The main living/dining room is just perfect for reading and relax for adults. The exterior spa was the best I have experienced in a long time.

our initial greeting was surprising, it was writing on the door to arrive at 3pm, we were early but did not know where to go, we wanted to check if we could stay on the property, but felt we were really not welcome when door open, not even offered to hospitality to wait in may room. For me the bed is the most important feature for a stay. The mattress was not really comfortable. The free standing A/C was in the small transition room and not providing good circulation for the bedroom. (as we shared our experience we were told to open the window, its cold outside). The reading chair had better days, we had to use heavy blanket to bring it to a comfortable seat. The bathroom as a step down right a door level. My first step out was brutal as there is no warning sign to remind you of the step. To climb into the bathtub is another experience, not totally easy as again more step with stent ceiling. Breakfast was prepared with a lot of attention and magnificent to look at. However, as I mentioned by the 3rd serving the first morning that I could not have that much sugar in my diet (asked for a toast with butter), my taught as a host would have been to take that remarks and adjust it for the second day. But no change, same extremely sweet breakfast. Very disappointed.

Very good

Beautiful view of Mont St Sauveur. Breakfast was delicious.

Spot light shining in through bedroom window. Curtains did not block it out very well as they didn't close properly. Both breakfasts were sweet, no savory option.

Memorable stay!

Right upon our arrival, Monsieur Richard ( the owner) did his utmost not only to welcome us but to see that we felt comfortable. His breakfasts were beyond our expectations. Any query was received positively, which is remarkable since he does everything mostly unaided. The location and peacefulness are extraordinary, close to everything but bathed in nature. Our room, les muguets, was comfortable, clean, restful and the water there is pure and soft ( not the chlorine smelling kind).

Some object to the amount of objects which might feel overwhelming to some at first. I found each one meaningful once you stop and really look at them. Nothing negative to say!
