It was a clean facility. Good cleaning of the rooms even if we asked for no cleaning.
There were no lactosfree yohurt but they had some kind of milk for the coffee. The coffee was watery and cold. The service when I asked for yoghurt was poor. No one could pop out to pick up lactosfree yoghurt for me, even if we were staying for 4 days.
The thermal water is not really thermal water. It is mixed up with regular water.
I wrote tge hotel in advance to make sure we would not get a room were there had been a dog before because I'm allergic, they asked me to upgrade.
If I wanted a room were I could be sure there had been no dogs I had to upgrade to the most expensive room. Or ask the staff when I check in.
When I got to the hotel to check in he looked at me like I was an idiot. First he didn't answer me, I asked him again and he mumbled that he didn't think there had been any dogs in the room he was giving us. Service minded! Do you not know the your customers are you bread and water.

Very nice old-style hotel located on beautiful Margaret Island in Budapest. Perfect for relaxing holiday. Rooms spatious, clean and comfortable with large windows overlooking the park, bathroom more modern and updated - excellent shower. Underground tunnel to spa facilities and thermal pools next door open 7-21h. Bathrobes and towels provided, no extra charges. Breakfast good with lots of choices. Parking in front of the hotel. Easy to get around and to the centre by public transport (bus 26 stops just behind the hotel). Hotel staff helpful and polite. Would stay here again.
Wifi a bit slow. A/C in room could be updated (imagine this would be an issue in the summer, but in the fall it was no problem - just left the windows open).

Otravné emaily, zprávy na whatsApp , které mi přicházely každý den z Hotelu několikrát. Jak se na mě těší, jak jsem se vyspinkal, jestli něco nepotřebuji. Když něco potřebuji, tak zajdu na recepci i bez emailu.

Spa området trænger til en opjustering, og personalet kontrollerer ikke at gæsterne går direkt i thermo pools uden at vaske sig først, og de varme pools kan udvikle mange bakterier og sygdom for gæsterne, så det kan ikke anbefales at bor her.
Endvidere var restauranten efter morgenmaden.

The location on the island is great, you can go running, visit the fountain, little zoo and many more.
Hotel spa is nice, you have to go through the tunnel to the neighboring hotel, but it was fun.
The dinner in the neighboring Ensana hotel is great buffe. We enjoyed it.
The room is large, but smelled like cigarette smoke and felt filthy (room nbr 361). We put the sign "proper cleaning" on the door and it was just quick room refresh.
The breakfast is ok, however the coffee machines were old and coffee not good, the plates were most of the time empty.
The surroundings of the hotel, and hotel corridors need proper cleaning and decluttering and organizing. Exceeding furniture, hoses, tables ...

A reggeli bőséges, változatos és színvonalas, a kávé finom. A pincérek formaruhában vannak, a vendégek zavarása nélkül sietve teszik a dolgukat. A kiürült tányérokat azonnal elviszik. A teraszon is lehet reggelizni; a terasz is elegánsan meg van terítve. A szállodában tetszett az elegancia, a régi patina a modern igényekkel ötvözve. Tetszett a nagyon vastag matrac, a kifogástalan tisztaságú fürdőszoba, a hófehér törölközők, köpeny, ágynemű. És volt papucs is! Tetszett a csodás illatú tusfürdő, a nagyképernyős tévé, a régi időket idéző hall és fogadó rész, ahol bőrfotelek, faragott asztalkák és értékes szőnyegek vannak. Jó, hogy tömegközlekedéssel is könnyen elérhető a szálloda és lehet sétahajózni is a közeli kikötőből. És nagyszerű a szálloda wellness részlege!
Talán a kis szobai hűtő lehetne újabb.

Po prijezdu nas dali do pokoje, kde nefungovalo nic. Tv, lednicka, nedala se rozsvitit svetla. Pokoj byl extremne maly a celkove velmi odporny. Odpovidal tak 2 hvezdickam. Po reklamaci nam recepcni nabizela vymenu za priplatek. Po kratsi vymene nazoru, coz bylo naprosto zbytecne, nam pokoj vymenila. Tento pokoj odpovidal tomu, co jme zaplatili. Uz se tam nikdy nevratime, prestoze jsme tam nebyli poprve.

Absolutely fantastic location on the Margaret island. The whole island is essentially a beautiful park and one of the best parks i have ever been to. You can actually spend the whole day on the island as there are many things to see, including the musical fountain, family bike ride, or kids' playground visit. We enjoyed watching the waterpolo game in the park as well. Absolutely great location.

I usually prefer to stay in a modern hotel, but this antique style of interior decoration was also attractive. It's located right next to the trail around Margaret Island, it's good to take a stroll or ride a bycicle. Bed and bedding were comfy, most staff were friendly, hotel room and facilities were neatly maintained.
The location is a little bit off from the central Budapest, but it was not an issue for me as I booked this place, knowing the fact. The spa was the main reason for choosing this hotel, but it was smaller than I expected, and both spa and pool temperature were not warm enough for my taste. Breakfast offers a good variety option, but quality-wise, there's room for improvement - especially pastries and fruits were too dry. Bathroom's drainage issue also needs to be solved as the water didn't run off well, the bathroom was always flooded after taking shower.

Es hat uns verglichen mit früher (vor drei, fünf Jahren) nichts mehr gefallen ausser das Gebäude von aussen. Ebenso gefallen hat natürlich die Umgebung.
Wir hatten ein De luxe Zimmer reserviert. Das Zimmer hatte eine Verbindungstüre mit dem Nachbarzimmer. Das geht für De luxe nicht! Das Restaurant mit Bedienung von früher wurde aufgehoben. Jetzt gibt es nur noch ein Selbstbedienungsrestaurant in einer architektonisch ungegmütlichen Umgebung. Schade! Sehr schade!

The hotel has a soul of its own, it does not copy anyone and its 150 years of history provides an exceptional feeling. Very nice and helpful staff (including a handy WhatsApp help line), great breakfast and indoor thermal pool environment. The beautiful quiet location in the middle of Budapest (2.5 km long island on the Danube) as an ideal starting point for walks to see both the historical sights and Budapest life. Long live this Grand Hotel!

Es war so ziemlich perfekt. Alles super sauber, sehr modern und ein echt nettes Personal. Durch die nahe gelegene Buslinie 26 ist die Lage einfach genial. Nachts extrem ruhig und in 2 Minuten mitten drin. Danke für Alles!!!

Camera con moquette costellata da bruciature di sigarette, zona terme sporca e insalubre (grate dei condizionatori non pulite da secoli, rischio legionella, posso inviare foto). Dopo un soggiorno di 7 notti, alla richiesta di late check-out, hanno prima risposto "no, non ci sono camere libere" poi "la camera c'è, costa 10 euro all'ora" (sono disponibile a inviare chat whatsapp che dimostra quanto appena scritto). Scadente il cibo offerto dal buffet dell'hotel contiguo (sempre marchio Ensana) al costo di 25 euro a persona bevande escluse. E mi fermo qui .... in conclusione soggiorno da dimenticare.

Мы настолько были приятно удивлены абсолютно всем, что увидели в этом отеле, что думали, что это сон. Чудесный отель, прекрасный персонал. Бесплатная парковка, шикарные и разнообразные завтраки. Спа в отеле-это сказка. Мы очень не хотели уезжать с этого прекрасного отеля. С острова можно уехать на автобусе, возле въезда на парковку остановка. Нужно только закачать приложение Budapest Go https://bkk.hu/en/tickets-and-passes/budapestgo/ и там покупать билеты. Там же есть и расписание всех маршрутов. Мы выезжали на автобусе 26 до конечной и там садились на третью ветку метро и ехали в центр погулять. Но отель настолько классный, что мы торопились вечером, чтобы поплавать в бассейнах. В стандартном номере было приветствие ввиде маленького шампанского и бутылки воды.
