We would definitely go back

Great hotel, very close to the beach and restaurants. Staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was great.

The floor of the room was not cleaned properly during our stay. Not a big deal, but maybe you can improve this in the future. The elevators are rather small and often busy.

Excellent but room for improvement

Rooms spotless cleaned daily. Location is perfect. Pool not to crowded.

Restaurant fare at dinner could be better. We did not have breakfast

Fantastic vacation at sea

The hotel is very clean, rooms are big(!), beds are comfortable and the staff is very friendly!! The hotel is just a couple of steps away from the beach and +/- 10 min. walk to the boulevard.

Very good

Very professional staff, very clean ( i think the hotel has been refurbished), free parking outside high season (mid May). In general good value for money

Dinner and breakfast globally everyday the same, not too much variation, however all in all the food is good. Absence of tags for different kind of foods (could be useful if dishes have written tags with what it is instead of guests guessing or asking the waiters, that not all the time know the different courses cooked for the day).

A great hotel and would stay again.

Transport organised through the hotel to and from the airport was 45 mins late picking us meaning we had to rush to get to our flight. Once breakfast had finished at 10.30am there was nowhere to get any refreshments from until 3.30pm meaning sitting around the pool wasn't an option as no choice of lunch or drinks to hand.

terrible sleep each night

loved the location

the airconditioner completely froze over and kept turning itself off then the room was so hot, door couldn’t be opened on balcony because of mosquitoes and car noise. I told the lady at the front desk with curly black hair but she was rude and didn’t send anyone to look at it as requested.

Very nice and polite staff, Very nice and good location. Clean room, Clean hotel.

Wifi connection was very bad in my room, could not work with it. Parking was expensive for 1 day (20€)

Good value, would definitely stay here again

Recently renovated, our room was large with good size balcony. Pool was large & loungers comfortable, very close to beach, restaurants nearby, staff very friendly & helpful.

Dinner menu limited.

Peaceful and relaxing place to stay

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our view of the ocean from the balcony was great. The room was clean and spacious, and quite comfortable, more than what I expected. It was cleaned everyday and towels were replaced daily. Hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful area. The location was perfect for a 7 - 10 minute walk to the restaurants. It was a short walk to the beach from the hotel. Staff left a bottle of wine and chocolates in our room on my birthday. The note however said, Welcome! so there was some confusion about that. Our friends in another room didn't receive any so I assumed it was given because of my birthday. If so, it was much appreciated. Parking outside the hotel is free and was very safe. We had no problem with wi-fi. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again when I return.

Nice and comfortable stay

The room was spacious and the view from the balcony was nice. We were upgraded to a suit with a partial ocean view. The breakfast and dinner were adequate.

Would love for breakfast to start at 7 am. Would love to find some hot cereal, like oatmeal there.

A clean hotel in a great location

We stayed here for 4 nights in September; it’s a very clean hotel with good size rooms and private balcony overlooking the sea was a nice extra to sit out at night. location is right on the edge of a cliff; great views out to sea and steps down to a sandy beach around 5 minutes walk from the hotel. plenty of restaurants a short walk from the hotel and local bus stops nearby too. Portimao train station is around a 45 minute walk (trains along the Algarve), the marina is around 30 minutes walk along the beach, bus station was around 10 minutes taxi ride to the hotel. Breakfast was standard continental options; with various cakes/pastries which varied by day. No complaints from us. The real stand out for us though were the staff… everyone we met is so lovely and helpful! Part of our trip was to celebrate my girlfriends 30th birthday. I contacted the hotel via booking.com before we arrived. Luminita (front desk) was quick to answer all my questions via booking.com; and arranged a local bakery to make a cake for us which was delivered to the hotel. The hotel staff also kindly decorated the room - it was a lovely touch and really made the day more special. Thanks so much! On our last day we went to watch sunrise and the gentleman on reception advised us of the best spots locally to go from his local knowledge. Front desk always had someone on who was happy to help; even booking taxis/transfers so we didnt need to worry about missing our flights back. It was these personal (& friendly) touches which really stood out for us
