Exceptional

Everything, Great atmosphere, Staff were welcoming, friendly & couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were great & comfortable.

Good

The bathroom was very cool..well designed and large. The double bed was comfortable. Good views.

Breakfast was not good. The cook couldn't speak enough English to understand our order and worse couldnt cook. The Lodge to their credit didn't charge for our eggs.

Will recommend to anyone coming to Port Vila!

the penthouse was amazing. We arrived at night, all pretty tired and didn’t take much note of anything, but then walked out to our deck the next morning and we’re greeted by beautiful views. Easy to get a bus to Mele Beach for a visit over to Hideaway Island, easy to walk to Port Vila markets along the highway (beautiful walk). The staff are incredible and the guest book that has all the information you need about the accommodation and surrounds easily accessible on your phone. We’ve since moved on to a “luxury resort” where we barely have any room to move in our accommodation.

No associated restaurant or room service if you wanted to have a cheeky lazy night and order in after a big day.

Superb

Clean comfortable rooms with good beds and showers. A nice pool area. We stayed here just for a night before flying to Santo and it was very close and convenient to the airport with some nice bars and restaurants walking distance to the hotel. There is also a small shopping centre with a bakery and Cafe that was convenient. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Exceptional

I stayed here during Cyclone Kevin, the staff were kind and reassuring. We unfortunately had no power or wifi due to the storms causing damage, but the team at Fatumaru made sure we had multiple charged lights/torches for our rooms. They were flexible to plans changing at short notice, and overall I couldn't fault them. I would wholeheartedly reccommend it as a place to stay in great weather or not so great!

we had a fantastic family holiday at the Fatamaru lodge , not amassive resort just a great boutique

Basic breakfast but nicely done , staff were great excellent manager and dorects you to really good restaurants and sightseeing areas.

Nice Villa, but needs renovation.

The villa was spacious with great outdoors area and nice view. This created a sense of being home at the beach.

The lodge is very run down and need major renovations and maintenance. The exterior cleaning and tidiness of the buildings, stairs, pool etc. need to be looked at, basic cleaning and maintenance. Plastic bottles lying around, the grounds are not cleaned regular. Halve started, unfinished maintenance are left for weeks creating an untidy and run-down look and feel. The pool deck is falling apart and needs a rebuild, this is unsafe with some of it completely rotten away. The beach is now non existing and is just crushed rock.

Good location, pleasant stay however a little disappointed for overall price paid.

Beautiful view from apartment studio. Secluded to some degree, private and secure. Good amenities if needing to cook. Pool was nice and provided paddle boards and kayaks.

Air-conditioning needs to be serviced or replaced (motor stopped every 30 mins) we booked this as being 6 months pregnant air conditioning would have been comfortable however did not work. Leaking shower did not stop. Pool did not specify if there was a closing time, as on our last night there were a group of people up yelling, screaming and using the pool (which echoes) at 3am - not sure if this would be suitable for a family.

Lovely, comfortable lodge

Lovely lodge in Port Vila. Conveniently located 10 min drive to the airport and 15 min walk to the city center. Nice restaurants nearby. Comfortable apartments with small kitchenette, nicely decorated, sea view apartments have a lovely view over the lagoon. Peaceful and quiet location. Very helpful staff, can recommend activities/tours.

All was great. Mind that reception is attended only during daytime, so you need to do special arrangements if you arrive after 7 pm.

beautiful boutique accommodation

I love that it was a small hotel and felt quite homey. Staff were being helpful and the pool was beautiful.

in our room the Wi-Fi was pretty average but I think we just got unlucky as it seemed to work everywhere else on the property fine

couldn’t even check in left to find new accommodation in middle of night

we arrived on the late flight in, had previously spoken to hotel about Checking in late and they said no problem it’s normal. - when we arrived at 12:15am by taxi no one answered the phone and the gate was locked stayed for 20 mins then had to drive around to all random hotels at 1am looking for accommodation. terrible

Why it’s the best non-stat

Secluded paradise in the middle of everything

Amazing resort, small and personable. Staff were Amazing especially our driver William he was such a lovely knowledgeable man. Rooms were large and comfortable. Loved the free kyacks and paddle boards. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was bit expensive for what was included and the hill to walk up to leave would not be good for anyone with bad legs but apart from that it was great place to stay.

Great Location right on the water with free SUP boards and kayaks. Bed was super comfortable and the room has everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool was great to cool down after a day of sight seeing.
