В кафешке внизу можно отлично позавтракать.

Отличное место, балкон выходит на пляж. Первые дни непривычно шумит океан. Качественное постельное белье и матрас. Всегда была горячая вода, свет, интернет. Персонал всегда спрашивает, все ли хорошо и что нужно. Все локации расположены рядом. Это топовое место. Пляж отличный и для серфа и для купания. Рядом черепаший пляж.

Нет кухни, где можно приготовить.

Beautiful boutique hotel with grand views, excellent location and a marvellous host!

Roshan, the property owner is a fantastic host. He is helpful, kind is always in a good mood. He was kind enough to even make us lunch himself before we left, a lovely gesture. Room 360, where I stayed had a panoramic view which included the forest and the beach. The room was large, well appointed with a modern flair. It’s close to the beach with a laundrette and massage parlour right outside. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. I would highly recommend staying at Marino Mirissa to anyone visiting here.

Great, relaxing stay! Perfect place to chill while our teens surfed. Great food and amazing staff!

the location perfect the staff very helpful the bed is comfortable the shower is great with good hot water the air con is strong it is quiet the surf shop has a great selection of boards

the surf instructor recommended spoke very little english , so it was difficult to have a lesson

オーナー家族はフレンドリーで優しく、子連れ旅でしたが、安心して楽しく過ごせました。部屋もキレイに掃除されていて、シャワー室も広くお湯も出ます。立地もよく、すぐ目の前が海で、タートルビーチまでもビーチ沿いを子供達とゆっくり歩いて20分くらいでした。メインストリートにも近いです。私たちはサーフィンをしなかったのですが、教室もあるみたいですし、ショップの傍にイタリアンコーヒー屋台もありますので、本格的なコーヒーを飲みたい時に助かりました。総じて、高評価です。また泊まりに行きたいと思います。

There is a reason to be the best rated resort.

Very few hotels in the world have such devoted open hearts and professionals workers as in this hotel from the owner and his wife through Adin and Hosam , all top quality people that give you a family feeling and making this beautiful place opposite the best beach for swim and surf, the number resort in the whole town!! Soon we will meet again..

The best hotel along the beach in Hikkaduwa concerning price and quality

The location is the best in Hikkaduwa. Light tidy room with much space, hot water during the day and no mosquitos. Lovely stuff, especially Agith🙏🏻 Thanks him a lot for smiles and chatting! The view is awesome: it’s like watching TV every day. The hotel and the restaurant are higher than the ocean, so it’s a benefit to observe the surfers riding the waves. There is a fruit store just behind the hotel and you you don’t have to carry the papaya and pineapple far)) Also there are many nice shops and restaurants along the street to the light and to the left. I love to walk a lot, and the location is the best for strolling along the beach: turtle beach 1km to the right and marvellous deserted beach 2km to the left. My next staying in Hikkaduwa will be in Mountain Wave for sure

I could say that power cuts disturb a bit, but actually I didn’t notice them: they happen once a day for only one hour. There are so many activities at this time of the day (from 3 to 5 p.m.) that I really didn’t notice.

Right on the beach. Clean, comfortable bed, great shower, friendly, excellent location, beautiful beach, close to great hang-outs and restaurants.

The restaurant and surf shop was closed for the season, I didn’t mind at all.

The view was amazing. You wake up to the sound of crashing waves :) The owner and his wife with a small team of staff who really went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were greeted by their kind staffs who served coconuts, which made us feel comfortable after a long tuk-tuk ride. They have a surf shop on the ground floor which is run by awesome people! Overall we love our stay there and will definitely come back next time!

PERFECT place for Hikkaduwa every time!

Go for the king room with sea view, you won’t regret it. incredible views, huge private terrace, comfy bed, loads of seating space for enjoying sunset, quiet with just the noise of the waves. Can’t recommend enough! also excellent coffee bar downstairs with great people to chat

Bargain stay and would stay again!

perfect spot on Hikkaduwa beach. large, clean and extremely comfy room. I slept better in this room compared to any of the more expensive rooms I had in Sri Lanka.

The shower water could of been a little warmer but with Sri Lanka being so warm, it didn’t matter too much.

Very good

The owners are warm and super helpful. The room was amazing, large and super view of the ocean. Also the balcony was large and made it safe from any rain that may drop. they kindly offered to send my postcards for me, and when I extended by 1 night there was no issues. there is great food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) 5 meters away.

The beach area/sun chairs could be upgraded, and finding the “reception” I learned was them welcoming you at the entrance. But it was also the charm

PERFECT stay with lovely host!

The owner and his family are super sweet and helpful. We felt at home since the first second we arrived. The rooms are very clean. The location is just perfect. Special discount at the surf shop for guests! Could not ask for anything more! 100% recommended to anyone traveling to Hikkaduwa!! :-)

Great Location

The room was very large and very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was right on the beach so was the perfect spot. There is a great little cafe underneath. It was a very chilled space.

Unfortunately when it came to payment time I didn't check it probably and when I got home and did the conversion rate I was overcharged for my stay compared to the price I was given on my booking.com booking. I know prices fluctuate a little with exchange rates but this was a little more than I expected (booking.com said tax etc were included so there should not have been any unexpected extra charge). Apart from that it is a great place to stay but just check before paying.

very nice place to stay a few days

-lovely and helpful staff, I felt like at home -the room was very big and comfortable -the hotel is right at the beach and the mainroad. No traffic could be heard in the room -very comfortable bed -walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and a few shops -they helped me organize a taxi to the airport for a good price

-the only bad thing is that I had to leave

The owner and the whole crew (the tuk tuk driver named summit and the chef and the coffee maker the surf teachers and so on.. they were all very gentle and helped me with every question. Perfekt spot at the beach!

Clean, spacious and friendly. As if we stayed at a friends’ place

We liked everything! The place is just on the beachfront, it can’t be closer, and it has great vibe and ambience. The rooms - they are different depending on the cost - were really modern, new and super clean. I am usually very picky and since it was our first time in Sri Lanka I was not sure, as I read a lot of reviews. But there is nothing to complain. Yet besides of everything the family which runs it is amazing and friendly. we arrived after midnight and things do not usually work any longer in Hikkaduwa, but the owner cared to find something for us. The family lives at the same house and the cafe nearby is also run by the family members - so they really do everything as for themselves. There a lot of clients who keep coming here, so they really work and so everything so people feels to be back. and we do. we initially planned to go to Weligama, as we were recommended by the friends, yet we stayed for 10 nights at the Mountain Wave. If you want to surf, all the equipment is there and there are guys to assist to the beginners. it’s indeed a nice community.

Beautiful quiet place which located on the beach.

- Hotel located directly on the beach but it's mostly suitable for surfers because of big waves; - Our room had a beautiful sea view, and it was incredibly comfortable. There was a great balcony where we spent our evening, comfortable bed, big shower room and so on. - amazing staff

- restaurant service could be faster
