Fantastic beach retreat.

The hotel was lovely. Perfect for our family with the pool and directly on the beach. The decor was stylish. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The family room had 2 big beds so our 3 children could share.

This hotel is great in a quiet area of hikkaduwa. It is a 5 min tuk tuk (500rs) from the main area though if you want more bars and cafes.

Nicht zu empfehlen

Der Strand und die Aussicht vom Balkon auf das Meer waren sehr schön. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Der Pool war gut.

Es war sehr schmutzig. Ein paar Beispiele: Unser Zimmer bei der Ankunft war so nicht hinnehmbar. Da lagen Haarbüschel von den letzten Gästen, die Toilette war komplett braun, auf dem Sideboard waren Kaffeeflecken vom Vorgänger. Es wurde dann versucht mit dem Alter der Einrichtung zu argumentieren. Die Damen von der Rezeption hat dann einen „Deep clean“ angeboten, was wir angenommen haben. Danach war es ok und siehe da, die Toilette war weiß. Ich hab mich so geekelt. Die Dusche ist ziemlich schimmelig. Wir haben einmal dort zu Mittag gegessen. Da war dann ein Stück Verpackung im Essen. Beim Frühstück (das nicht sehr abwechslungsreich ist) hatte ich einen Obstteller mit Haar. Eine Kakerlake lag den halben Tag auf der Treppe, die zur Bar ins Erdgeschoss führt. Die wurde dann schon von hunderten Ameisen umzingelt. Wir haben kein einziges sauberes Handtuch bekommen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass sie gewaschen sind, aber fleckig waren sie alle. Die Besitzer des Hotels sind irgendwie unsympathisch (was natürlich rein subjektiv ist) Man wird als Gast nicht mal gegrüßt. Was man vor dem Aufenthalt wissen sollte: man kann dort nicht ins Meer, weil es zu wild ist. Weiter nördlich, am Turtle Beach geht das aber. Das ist ca 5 Minuten mit dem Tuktuk entfernt.

We had a great week on the beach, and at Ease is a great spot/location

Friendly staff. Pool facilities right on the beach. AC/ceiling fans in the room. Tea, coffee & water provided in the rooms.

The one thing we were very disappointed about was the cleanliness of the bathroom towel linen… even though they were replaced daily, they were grubby & stained.

Hotel provides direct access to the serene shores, creating a delightful getaway

I really liked staying at this hotel! It's right by the beach, so I could easily go for a swim and enjoy the waves. The pool was nice and clean(3ft-5.6ft), perfect for a relaxing day under the sun. Overall, a great place for a beach getaway with a cool pool to chill in!

The breakfast was quite basic, and it didn't change for all three days. It would be nice to have more variety. Also, having no Wi-Fi in the room was a bit inconvenient; it would be great if they could add that for guests who need to stay connected.

Perfect to unwind

Lovely staff, great location and a lot of privacy. We as a family felt very welcome by the staff.

Only recommendation would be that the toilet seat and bed sheets could have been cleaner or renewed.

Tidy, clean property Warm front of house staff.

The pool was really unsafe; it had a slipper edge and the plunge pool section was the same. The owner, a local guy, was super unfriendly to us. Never once said hi, and we observed him speaking to kitchen/bar/wait staff in a really rude, condescending and disrespectful manner.

Hygiëne, vies beddengoed, vlekken op kussens, wormen in de badkamer, continue aanwezigheid van benzinegeur, overal stond troep in het hotel, geen mogelijkheid meer om wat te drinken in het hotel om 21:30. Een grote teleurstelling, schandalig dat ze deze prijs durven te vragen.

Very clean and comfortable stay.

The lovely hotel over looks the beachs and has a small pool. The rooms were very clean and well made up. It has kettle, tea, coffee, lovely bathroom with hot shower. It had fans and cool AC. It also provides resuable water bottles that you can refill for free at the bar. The breakfast included tea, coffee, fruit, toast and egss your way as well as other options like waffles.

Ok, but not for that price

The swimming pool with the sea view is nice and cozy

-Stained Sheets -A guy from the staff knocked at our door and woke us up at 5am just because we told him we would checkout “quite early”. That was very weird and not appreciated.

Great value option right on the beach.

Great location right on the beach, they even upgraded us to a sea view room. Lovely varied breakfast. Friendly staff, we even added an extra night. Hot water, Couple of doors up are some good restaurants. Lovely quiet area.

Could do with a sweep as lots of sand being brought in from the beach - apart from that everything fantastic.

Cozy room. Good design. Comfortable bed.

The room was dusty, even though upon check in we had had to wait for 30 min to have it cleaned. Tooo slooow service. Meals are not tasty at all.

Exceptional

Very nice, quite hotel. Fantastic breakfast, friendly staff. Hair dryer is available at reception, you can keep it for your stay. Sun beds, sun cream and beach towels. Pool is cleaned every day. Amazing ocean view, I could stare from our balcony all day.. away from city rush, but fairly close to shop and very good restaurants. Free water available all day at the bar. Perfect, highly recommended!

Great hotel, but needs some maintenance.

Great location with an exceptional beachfront. The staff is accommodating and super-friendly, with special mention to Thilina, Mithun, and Akash. Thilina and Mithun were excellent at customer service during the stay. Also, the foods are delicious, especially the dinner menu. The sea view from the balcony room is amazing.

Lack of maintenance with the special attention needed for bathrooms and room lights. It would be better if the breakfast had more options on the second day.
