An outstandingly beautiful and peaceful location on the edge of the lagoon. The accommodation, pool area and restaurant were all immaculately clean. Very few insects which was a surprise given how close we were to the water.
I hope it stays as low key in the future because it is a great place to come for a peaceful stay with a touch of simple luxury.

This place is amazing! Would absolutely recommend to anyone. The pool has incredible views over the reservoir. The rooms are lovely and were immaculately clean. The best part about this place is the staff, they are so helpful and friendly which made our stay even better!

Выбрали отель чисто по названию и не прогадали! Очень тихое и уютное местечко. Все очень чисто и симпатично. Ухоженная и цветущая территория. Есть все для удобства гостей: бассейн с удобными лежаками и видом на лагуну, рядом с ним можно взять полотенце, рядом на лужайке столики с зонтиками, еду можно заказать прям туда. Отдельной похвалы заслуживает спортивная зона: великолепно укомплектованная новым оборудованием и йога-зал с огромным зеркалом. Рядом находится спа-зона, где есть душевая и туалет. У нас была просторная вилла с просто гигантской кроватью. В номере было чисто и очень уютно! Чайник, холодильник, чашки с ложками, конечно же, имелись. Порадовало, что кондиционер был грамотно расположен: дул не на кровать, а дальше. Также у каждой виллы было свое патио с лежаками, столом и сидениями. В этом месте есть все для комфортного и безмятежного времяпровождения!!! Персонал милый, приветливый и всегда был готов помочь (вызвать тук-тук туда-обратно). Вкусный завтрак (яйца, тосты, масло и джем, фруктовая тарелка, вкусный и большой чайник фильтр-кофе, свежевыжатый сок и вода). В ресторане при отеле также можно было пообедать и поужинать. На 2 этаже над рестораном лаунж-зона с видом на территорию и лагуну. До очень тихого и приятного пляжа метров 200. Мы в восторге от этого места! Уезжать не хотелось!!

Die Anlage ist nagelneu und wunderschön, es gibt einen Pool, ein Fitnessstudio und ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Die Natur an der Lagune ist toll anzusehen, sehr viele Tiere, u.A. Affen. In wenigen Minuten ist man an menschenleeren tollen Stränden. Der Bungalow ist sehr clean, minimalistisch und modern. Das Bett ist unglaublich bequem und sehr groß. Das Bad ist ebenfalls top. Der Betreiber und seine Mitarbeiter sind wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit, im Hotel werden außerdem drei tolle Hunde beherbergt, die laut Auskunft im Restaurant auch alle geimpft sind etc. Der Aufenthalt war in jeglicher Hinsicht sehr sehr schön.

Calm and beautiful place outside of busy Tangalle. The location at the lagoon is perfect for sunset. The owner and his staff are exceptionally friendly. Rooms are spacious and modern. Good breakfast and we also had dinner. Fresh seafood and not pricier than in comparable places outside. Would recommend 100%!

Lieu de vie très agréable avec une maison individuelle. Ce fut un petit coin de paradis avec une piscine vue sur le lagoon. Le lieu est silencieux et parfait pour se reposer. Il se situe à 15 minutes maximum en tuktuk de toutes les plages aux alentours. (Y compris les plages où vous pouvez surfer)
Le personnel est à l’écoute et très arrangeant. Je recommande vivement !

Отличный отель, отличный персонал, отличная локация. Если вы хотите уединения, аутентичности, то вам сюда. Мы встретили лучшего в мире водителя, который нам показал остров, который был очень приятный, милый и дружелюбный, что нельзя было это не отметить. Персонал в отеле просто на высоте. Всегда думает о гостях, никогда не навязчив, но очень внимателен к деталям. Сам отель просто потрясающий. В нем есть все, что необходимо и даже больше. К нам приходила семья обезьян и мы были просто в восторге от увиденного. Бассейн чистится каждый день, кокосы срывает специально обученный человек, который очень приветлив, когда видит, что гости наблюдают :) Если мы вернемся на Шри-Ланку, то мы обязательно выберем еще раз этот отель.
Нет недостатков. Ну может можно разнообразить завтраки, но это больше вкусовые предпочтения, но завтраки были сытные, вкусные и хорошие.

Einfach alles. Die Besitzer sind so herzlich und organisieren einfach alles für einen!
Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber und auch getrennte Betten waren absolut kein Problem. Außerdem konnten wir noch etwas länger in der Unterkunft bleiben als der normale Check Out.
Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr sehr viel. Man konnte es nie wirklich aufessen.
Der Pool ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, sowie auch die komplette Anlage.
Für die Abreise nach Ella wurde uns ein extrem freundlicher Fahrer organisiert, der uns auf dem Weg sehr viel gezeigt und erklärt hat.

A fantastic place to relax by the fabulous pool overlooking the lagoon with spectacular sunsets. Very peaceful, great accommodation, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, in spacious individual bungalows. Food was really good and very reasonably priced. The manager Suresh was so helpful, was able to arrange a driver to take us to Galle for a great price and all the staff were truly lovely. Just a few minutes walk from the property is the beautiful natural beach. There are a couple of very small local restaurants which also serve great seafood, curries etc, Sea Dragon on the beach and Cocktails just off the beach.
The only improvement would be some comfortable seating for resting in the bungalow but don't let this put you off. This place is simply peace.

It was really enjoyable and a pleasure to be there. I was living surrounded by pure nature, a picturesque lagoon, monkeys, birds of paradise, and fireflies. It was magic! It was a really comfortable room, the people were very kind to me, they always made sure I was comfortable and happy, they helped me. All I needed to calm my soul.

The chalet was great, very large and clean. Loved the use of polished concrete on the floor and furniture. The pool was very clean and a good size. Overall a great place to stay and very relaxing. The location overlooking the lagoon was stunning too - so many birds and amazing to wake up to the call of kingfishers.
Food for dinner was ok, a very large portion but not the best food we’ve eaten in Sri Lanka by a long way. Not being able to pay by card is a big drawback, if staying multiple nights it’s difficult to withdraw enough money from ATMs due to the daily limit. ATMs are also hit and miss if they have enough cash to withdraw.

The accomodation was simply perfect! The manager was friendly, he booked us tuktuks and taxis, he organized a 2-day trip specifically for us and he made our stay amazing. Besides that, the bungalow was very nice and always clean. Altogether a perfect experience and we would recommend it to anyone!

The facilities are amazing! It‘ a perfect spot for relaxing, reading and enjoying a day at the pool.
The staff was exeptional nice and kind. Especially Suresh was reachable every minute, organised food platters and drinks, Tuk Tuk drivers and drove us to our next stay while no other driver was available. Breakfast was huge and delicious.
There is no private pool as mentioned on every room. It’s only one but a very nice and clean pool. We were lucky only two other guests stayed at the same time, so we almost had a „private pool“.

The pool view is stunning.it was one of the most beautiful sunsets in my life.

We had a wonderful time at Simply Peace. Suresh and his family are doing everything to make the stay unforgettable. One beach can be reached by foot, and Suresh has always organised tuk tuks to other places. The room looked amazing and was very clean. The place itself is beautiful and quite calm.
We would definitely recommend this place.

The property is lovely. Beautiful place, very quiet nested in gorgeous nature. The bungalow are beautiful lovely agenced with attention to details. The pool is gorgeous and makes for an amazing sunset backgroud. Breakfast was incredible. The cook is amazing and I actually enjoyed 2 dinner there as the food was some of the bedt of my trip.
The manager is a lovely man and will help with all of your endeavors and truly make your stay amazing!
I also found out that people staying there were lovely which gave an amazing atmosphere to the place.
This place is amazing and a gem but it comes with an efty pricing for Sri Lanka and therefore, in my opinion, needs to be perfect. I would have been willing to overlooked all of the below mentioned issued in most places but not this one. Plus these will be easy to fix.
- 4 stars hôtel but no generator. Considering sri lanka is facing lots of power cuts at the moment and the standard of the hotel it should have been there
- lots of ants in my room when I arrived. It was quickly fixed by the lovely staff but should have been fixed before I arrived
- the worst one is that they don't accept credit card. I had to withdrew 300 USD to pay them and maxed my cash limits on my card plus did not feel super confortable about it
