Quick and friendly checkin, warm cookies, loved the nespresso machine in the room - comfortable bed - parking garage had a walkway to hotel - loved the 9:00 coffee and dessert in the hotel bar area. Definitely will be back

My daughter lives outside Detroit and I live in WV. We met at Detroit Opera House to see WICKED. We decided to stay in Windsor after the show. So glad we did. It is a charming town as well as the surrounding neighborhoods. Water, water everywhere was such a delight. I would definitely go back.

Friendly and helpful staff, the place was really nice. just odd that cell phone reception wasn't the greatest in the room but that's not hotels fault.

From the moment my husband and I arrived to THE moment we left we were treated phenomenally by all staff members. The rooms are large and commfortable , the bathroom is huge and the amenities. Fabulous. Thank you for the wonderful stay. The warm cookies upon arrival are such an added treat.

On arrival it was nice. Was not offered cookies though 😒. Unpacking the car with luggage and not a trolley in the building to assist carrying the luggage.

We always choose the double tree when spending a night in Windsor. The beads and pillows are so comfortable and we literally have the best sleep here out of anywhere we stay. Will continue to use this place for a night out on the town (or just to use their pillows ;))

For the price we paid for our rooms it didn’t include parking the hotel doesn’t have a lot you have to pay $20 a day for parking at a lot behind the hotel. They don’t offer continental breakfast or even free hot coffee. The tv channels were just very basic cable. Nearby there isn’t much to eat it’s been a while since staying downtown Windsor but it seems like a lot of the restaurants and pubs have closed. The hotel returns wasn’t even open. Best places to eat were at the Cesar’s casino just stay there rooms same rate, have places to eat, free parking, premium channels, and u limited fresh tea, coffee, pop etc

We enjoyed our stay here. For the most part it was very clean and met our expectations (for the price we paid) but the washroom wasn’t very clean - there was a ring of dirt/grime around the base of the toilet which was surprising. Also, this is minor but the pillows were very very large and not comfortable for sleeping. I looked around for other options and there were just the four pillows on the bed, all oversized. Lastly, this is more a disappointment with Expedia but we realized that the rate we paid through Expedia was significantly more than the rate we could get if booking directly through the hotel. So something to consider when booking through Expedia - I was surprised. I contacted Expedia to get it corrected and because it was a “non refundable rate” and they apparently couldn’t get ahold of the hotel via the phone, they couldn’t do anything. I would have said the hotel met all of our expectations and rated it higher if it cost $100 less (we paid $286 for one night, parking extra). Just a so-so stay - certainly not bad but not exceptional either.

Double Tree in Windsor was a great place for us to stay while visiting for the weekend. The staff on the phone and in person were very kind and accommodating. The view of the Detroit River from our room was beautiful. Everything was neat and tidy. Only thing to point out was the cleanliness of the furniture; just a couple questionable stains on couch and chair, but our bed seemed very clean. Overall, great experience and will keep in mind for future visits.

Our stay was great and the roomservice breakfast was fast and really tasty! The only issue is that the tray of our finished dishes sat outside the hall for at least a full day. That would be the only comment on that. Otherwise we had a great stay!

My name is Jessica Marques I wanted to share my recent hotel experience with Doubletree Windsor Ontario. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues during my stay that left me feeling quite disappointed. One incident that stood out was the clogged toilet in my room. I called for assistance around 11:30pm, and they said someone would come in the morning. I explained that waiting wasn't feasible as I needed to use the toilet. They didn't offer any other options and expected me to go without a working toilet overnight. I asked for a plunger so I could handle it myself, and eventually, they brought one to my room. However, I was unexpectedly woken up at 7 am by someone knocking on my door to fix the toilet which I clearly dealt with myself. It was really inconvenient and disrupted my sleep. I understand that issues can happen, but the service I received in this situation didn't meet my expectations. It left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced during my stay. I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention because I believe it's important for you to know about the experiences your guests have. I hope you can take this feedback into consideration and address these issues to ensure a better experience for future guests. I was actually considering your hotel for an upcoming event, but after my recent experience, I'm no longer sure if that's the right option for me. I would appreciate if you could address these concerns and make it right.

Great location if you're going to a show at Caesar's. It's a 7-minute walk. Parking is available at a garage across the street, with a bridge between so you don't have to deal with inclement weather. Do Not lose the ticket they give you for parking! We requested 2 queen beds and at check-in they gave us a king, which we didn't realize until we ran up to drop our bags and then run to the show. Luckily, the woman at the desk worked some magic and got us our correct room. Small snafu could happen anywhere, and they were very helpful to fix it. I would definitely stay here again, especially in a river front room because that view is Gorgeous!

Gorgeous view to Detroit river, clean and spacious. poor sound proof , we were able to hear hour neighbours all night. Our car was vandalised in the parking garage . hotel itself seems secure , not sure about the neighbourhood.

Beautiful setting looking out over the Detroit River and Downtown Detroit. Very convenient to the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel. Easy parking in adjacent parking garage, with a walking bridge to the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff.
