The price is very reasonable (for California). The employees are very nice, our room didn't get cleaned but it wasn't very dirty either. There isn't any dark out curtains so if you want to sleep in, this isn't the hotel for that. Breakfast was really good and there is something for everyone. If you are not there for R&R and just need a place to sleep, then this is great.

The front desk or the night audit person was super nice and check in was amazing. The breakfast was nice. The elevator carpet was old and overall the hotel looks old! Staff were amazing and location was good

It was an average room. Beds were very uncomfortable. It was very clean so that was a plus. The staff was nice. Ask for a handicap room. The room was small with a large bathroom.

Handicap accessible usually means a roll-in shower not a step-in tub. And ADA rules say there needs to be 36" clearance for a wheelchair. The door had no stop on it to hold it open. Soci had to fight with the door to push a wheelchair in and then fight with the furnitureto get to the middle of the room. Climbing over the bed to get back out. Forget about allowing my wife to enjoy a warm shower, it became another sponge bath. This is apparently the only type of handicap rooms they have.

The reason I am writing to you is to let you know about the behavior that Diego and Alex exhibited when I tried to present my complaint. Please be aware that both night auditors disrespected me. Diego hung up the phone on me while I was trying to explain that my room was dirty, with trash in the trash can and an unclean bed. When I went to the front desk and asked Diego why he hung up, he replied, "because you don't want to understand that this room was a room change." I told him that unfortunately, he should inspect the room before renting it again, and he said it wasn't his responsibility, mocking me with the other agent, Alex. These are the names they gave me; I'm not sure if they are correct, but they are the agents who worked the 11 pm-12 am shift. Please address this inappropriate and disrespectful behavior. While the working methods may differ, the Fairfield by Marriott should have the same standard For room changes room inspection before sale the rooms to other guests. Room 436

I have had the opportunity to stay at a few places...some were horrible. Bugs, roaches...but i love any place marriott. Clean, affordable, great staff, comfy beds and bedding, delicious breakfast. Pure heaven

The room was clean and so were the common areas. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is back away from the road, so the parking is secluded and you don't hear the noise of the road. Breakfast was pretty typical, but the cheesy omletts were a yummy addition. There is a lot of light that comes into the room around the door. I had to put some towels at the base of the door to block out the light.

none of the staff greet during the stay at the property. everyone looked like an alien. car parking at their property and they are not liable for it..weird..no sitout area outside to talk and walk.

Staff was great. Facilities are a bit older. Online photos showed rooms with wonderful lighting but room was just a very dark feeling to it. Our room had an unpleasant oder (#330). Otherwise it was ok and was a one night stay for overnight.

Not what you would expect from this hotel chain. We stayed in a king room and it was cramped! The Bed was on the firm side but comfortable. The bathroom linen was placed on top of a handicap shower stool not on a rack or shelf There was minimal space to store belongings. The lighting was dim and dark.

Staff at front counter was not the most welcoming. Freeway noise was loud. There was no blackout shade for our room and a bright parking light shined in our room all night. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Like that there is a small refrigerator and microwave.

I’ve previously stayed at this property and wasn’t impressed but do to its location close to my dying mother in law I have stayed time and time again without issue. This particular stay had to be delayed for the hurricane and the employees were extremely heartless and did not care about giving even a partial credit. I do not recommend; I will be staying at a hotel under the IHG group next time and I won’t be back.

Carefully consider your options before choosing this hotel. While the staff was nice enough, the property is in dire need of updating. In our room alone their was mold in the shower, The towels were stained with. The sink emanated a foul odor every time it was turned on and their were, what appeared to be blood stains on the sheets and duvet. A less than impressive stay for a facility that the freeway can be heard from night and day.

The location is great for freeway access and central to Mission Viejo. The hotel was a little dated but rooms are spacious. Staff was accommodating but not friendly. The pool was nice but the freeway noise made it less relaxing. For the price and location I'd stay here again. The photos aren't exactly like it is and also the sign is wrong check out is 11am not noon as posted.

The towels are grey/black. Time to replace them. Garbage bin is too small if the room. service is only once in three days. I asked the front desk for a bottle opener. no such thing. what else can I say.
