The fact that the prices were 204.00 more than what we were told is RIDICOLOUS

The view was beautiful...

When I booked the room from booking.com it states "Price details 1 Superior King Suite with Sofa Bed 13 % TAX is included. US$ 38 Resort fee per night is included. Total Price $675.25 BUT upon checkout they charge me a RESORT Fee of 38.00 per day and resort Resort Fee Tax 6% and Resort Fee Tax -7% plus Self Parking per Day of 24.00 plus tax 1.68 PER DAY our stay total was 879.75 when we were told at booking 675.25 ADDITIONAL FEES of 204.50 RIDICULOUS. Why cant the price given be the same!

Great location but over priced. Place looks old. Outdated.

Size of suite. Location and view. Shuttle service wonderful.

It wasn’t very clean. Towels were terrible. They didn’t dry a body well. Shouldn’t use softener when laundering towels. Inside of dishwasher was a mess. No instructions on dishwasher pod about how to use _ I think you open it and pour it in the dispenser ( which wouldn’t open, by the way) also saw remnants of the packing in the bottom of washer. Someone just put the whole thing in. Rm 4415

Fantastic time snd was able to use all the accommodations at the Don Cesar with the high room cost.

Very nice room snd spacious. Great location as well.

Don CeSar - Good, But Better Values Exist

Good location, clean room.

Don CeSar Beach Suites is overall good, but overrated (as is the main Don CeSar Hotel). Certain items are dated, and they charge maximum money for everything. Most of the beachfront hotels in St Pete Beach, on Gulf Blvd. are comparable age and style. I expect better overall value is found amongst their neighbors.

it was a nice stay since we stayed at the pool and on the beach most of the time.

furniture in the sitting room is very old, sofa is falling apart, no comfortable armchair to sit and read. kitchen is very poorly equipped (no hot water bottle or a single reasonable saucepan or frying pan).

All and all it was a lovely place and we would recommend and stay there again.

There was a lot to like and just a couple things that kept it from being perfect. We had a room with a great view, so that was a nice start. The room was tastefully decorated and we loves that it had a kitchen and a dining table. Being able to use the Don Cesar amenities was also a plus for us.

The biggest downfall was how small overall the room iwas. There is very little closet space, no dresser, and no extra floor space in the bedroom. Also, the bathroom was tiny. You don’t realize how valuable double vanities are until you have to share a bathroom and don’t have them. We did have a situation with ants. There was a bag of candy left out and we first noticed them on the kitchen counter (our fault). But then they were also on the bed. The front desk sent someone with replacement bedding, but I guess since it was after hours, they didn’t have a housekeeper to put them on.

A Diamond in the Rough! I will be back!

Really loved the size of the room. The room was nicely renovated. The views from the balcony to the beach were outstanding. The balconies overlook the pool and the bar. Great place to go to get away for the weekend.

I really can't think of anything that I did not like. This hotel is a great location to get to the beach and spend sometime with your family or close ones. I will definitely be back.

Large suites, great location

Located right on the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Suite was large. Having a kitchenette was nice. We could use facilities at the Don Cesar.

No smart TVs so we couldn't watch movies. Regular TV had very few channels. Lighting not great (as in most hotels).

Beautiful hotel, professionally ran, And would definitely stay again!

Beautifully decorated and like that you can go to both hotels. Very professionally ran Hotel and very friendly staff. Love the beach and tow service!

Hotel is very beautiful and wanted to take a few pictures for our anniversary of us with the hotel in the background. However, I wish I knew that you needed permission To use your own professional style camera and tripod to take those pictures(we use a remote to take pictures because my husband is too embarrassed for me to ask someone to take pictures of us). I got all dressed up to take pictures and had to stop and take them the next day after I emailed and had to get permission. Hotel, was friendly and did give me that permission but had a strict timeline.

Nice property but too far from main Don CeSar

The The front desk agent, Amy was super accommodating and helpful! She gave us a complementary upgrade and tried to make things right when we were disappointed with the AC going out and a couple of other things. The shuttle to go to the main property was also really great, and the suites are perfect for a family.

definitely not up to par with what you would expect from the Don being that it was actually MORE than the main property when we stayed. we had a lot of ants and the AC went out the second night.

Relaxing family vacation. Perfect for our family.

Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. The beach chair guys were awesome! View of the ocean from the room was great! Pool wasn’t crowded.

Lots of separate fees…parking, resort, several different taxes. Windows in the bedroom that face the street should be replaced so you don’t hear road noise.

Superb

We had a superior king with a view of the beach and Gulf (all rooms do). The facility may be full but it was not crowded. Plus you can use the amenities of the Don Cesar.

Housekeeping is still an issue as with all hotels. But if you tell the front desk, they will take care of it.
