Excellent breakfast
I didn't care for not having at least a small carpet next to the bed so when I got in or out of bed my feet were not on a bare floor and it was a bit sandy too. Of course I know being on the beach you will have sand .Also there was no bath mat in the bathroom when you got out of the shower

Check in was easy and convenient. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Tate. Housekeeping came every day, even though we didn't need them that much. It was nice in an era where this perk is not the standard. The common areas were clean and tidy. The hotel is on the beach and is close to plenty of water and entertainment activities. We did go to Rum Runners, and Kim, Rhianon and GiGi had great attitudes and seem to be having fun.
We really missed the old Sirata Beach Resort, with two pools, two bars/grills and a restaurant. We also missed not getting two chairs and beach umbrella rental included in the room charge. The Sirata St. Pete Resort is a hotel with a pool. I wouldn’t call it a resort. The standard room is small, so you’ll want to pay extra for a Jr. Suite. The quality of the food at Rum Runners was not consistent.

Excellent views and close to the ocean. The staff was very friendly.
I thought I booked a walk out first floor but ended up on 2nd floor. I took a long time to get checked in because the cleaning staff didn’t have our room ready.

The room was clean. The staff seemed friendly.
The website listed a hot tub but there is no hot tub. It was removed but the website was not updated. I chose this hotel because it had a hot tub. The restaurant is listed as open but is closed. There were no beach towels. The towel machine is broken/ empty. There is not enough parking.
