Great experience, conveniently located!

Breakfast selections were top rate, we really enjoyed the cuisine. The suite was spacious and very comfortable, it really did not feel like a hotel room. The bed was soft and comfortable.

Getting checked in with the valet was a nightmare. We had to circle Many times and finally had to get out to ask what the secret was, we were told to wait. The only place to wait though was on the street and block traffic. Getting our car back from the valet was great and meet our expectations.

Very enjoyable

Both room and breakfast were great. Everything was very clean. Staff were courteous.

Sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. You should replace the traditional "american" sofa beds with the european style sofa beds. They are much firmer and way more comfortable.

Decent

Great location and decent price. Very roomy and comfortable.

Did not have my reservation due to my using booking.com. Requested pillows and blanket for pull out bed and was never taken to us. Made a call and even went down to counter and no one ever brought up anything.

Quiet, clean, tiny rooms

Very clean, refinished rooms, quiet rooms even though it seemed sold out. Breakfast was excellent.

The room was tiny. The photos for the “premium king suite” are fish eye photos. The main living area barely fit the sofa bed when it was unfolded and the bedroom barely fit a pack and play. No window in living area. Because the hotel was so busy the small pool had like 20-30 kids in it all night (definitely at “capacity”) and we had a hard time getting bedding for the sofa bed and no extra towels.

Good stay except the shower

Everything went well

Shower head mounted way to high to reach and adjust. (Over 7 feet). It pointed towards the wall.

Overall it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Very clean and the was very helpful and courteous.

Parking for checking in was inadequate. The lamp shades in my room were torn and damaged. The safe didn’t work at all. Everything else was great!

Very nice!

Location was easily accessible.- just off the main highway. Breakfast was expansive with many choices including made to order omelettes. They were overbooked and didn’t have our room but offered us two rooms to accommodate us for same cost. Facilities were very clean with beautiful decor. CVS was accessible without going outside for essentials. Parking garage was next to the facility and only 15 dollars nightly.

Check-in took a while due to the room issue.

Had a really nice time at Embassy Suites and downtown Louisville or "Lou Vahl".

Breakfast and happy hour was nice. The room was clean and updated. The location was perfect for taking the Bourbon Trail tours. It was walking distance to everything. It was right in downtown so only had to walk one block for music, food and comedy club.

I really can't think of anything I didn't like.

Definitely an older building, room needed attention

The breakfast was very good !! I liked the Keurig coffeemaker that was in the business center, Better coffee than in the room.

The room could have been cleaner, the beds were satisfactory, bathroom didn’t feel very clean. We were also put in a handicap room ,that was not requested, so we had no bathtub, just the shower stall.

We had a great experience.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. The entire hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a great location in the town.

It would have been nice if the restaurant were open Sunday evening. We had a hard time finding some good placed to eat in town on Sunday.

Overall it was excellent.

The room was so big and the beds incredible. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. They will make you a fresh omelette! They also do a reception in the evening with free drinks. Overall it was a great stay!

The bathtub didn't drain well and there was something very slippery in the bottom and we almost fell. They came and cleaned it, so that was fixed. You must carry your key card with you. My friend and I got stuck on the elevator, we forgot our key and the button to open the door wasn't working. We had to call our friend to come push the button to open the doors. That was a bit scary.

Gorgeous hotel, great breakfast, beautiful pool, good fitness room.

Pool poorly managed. At the busiest possible time, the hotel kicked all guests out of the pool at 7 pm on Saturday night. The pool was packed and they stated that there was not enough chlorine for number of kids. We were able to go back at 8:30, but it was late for the littlest guests. Families use pools to wind kids down before bed, to save the other neighboring guests, and it was absolutely not planned for appropriately.

Comfortable & great cleanliness. Pools not a winner.

Loved the clean bed linens and comfort of bed/pillows. Towels nice and clean/crisp as well which I love.

I couldn’t understand the front desk gentleman very well. And my only other big complaint was the pool. Water was murky and cool for an indoor pool. The pool was a big decision maker since we were traveling with young kids. Def would of liked to see clearer water and prefer warmer, but wouldn’t of mind the cool temp if it were clean!

Good Location.

Great location Downtown. The property has a lot of history to it which is cool. Staff were friendly at check in and check out. Clean room.

Hotel bars are sadly closed, although I would suggest going across the street to the Seelbach Hotel bar. Pool looked very dirty, water was opaque. Room was nice, good size & clean. I did not like that there was no external windows so there was no natural light at all (ask for a external facing room).

Valet parking garage setup. Didn’t like that I couldn’t access my vehicle once parked but appreciated the security it provided.

Spacious suite and quite location although right in the middle of town!

For this relatively high price, the room had holes and dirt on the walls. The breakfast was good but I had to continuously ask for bowls, cutlery, etc being restacked. The fruit and bacon was empty early.
