Great location to beach, Manuel Antonio park and beach, spacious rooms

The location is great if you want to go to Manual Antonio park. Unfortunately however we found out that you need a reservation well in advance, otherwise you can't get in, even with a guided tour. The hotel though was nice, good safe parking for our car, right across from the beach and close to restaurants. Clean spacious rooms and nice layout.

best location at a reasonable price - right across the street from the beach and up against the walkway to the entrance of Manuel Antonio national park - nice towels for use at the beach, sand shower available, good water pressure, good toilet flush pressure (put tp in the trash), nice deck to view the beach, probably can see sunset at certain times of the year, close to great restaurants

Exceptional

Congratulations for creating such a lovely place! The girls from the reception are very nice and helpful, not mention about the increible owner! The garden around the hostel is like a parque natural, with so many animals. The extraordinary was the friend from the river. This is one of those places where you would like to extend your stay every day. Pura vida

Perfect staying

The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was very big and with two children was perfect. The hotel provided room clean once a day and we demanded for a kettle to prepare our youngest daughter'meals and they gave us. The staff was very kind, attentive amd full of envy to help. The location of the hotel.is beachfront (espadilla norte playa), in dron of the bus terminal and very close to.Manuel Antonio Park.

If the breakfast would be included in the cost, everything would be perfect.

Excellent location, right on the beach and near the National park entrance.

It is a little bit dated and could do with updating. The hotel bar / restaurant is a bit drab and has no pull to attract you in. We never ate or drank there.

convenient hotel to visit Manuel Antonio Park

5min Walk to Manuel Antonio park.

well I think the hotel outdated or it looks like it needs renovation. I just stayed here because of the National Park which is very close. I think 1-2 days in this hotel is ok.

Location, location, location. The beaches is literally across the street. The hotel is at the end of the road so during the day it is fun and lively and at night pretty quiet.

Excellent, would return gladly.

TLDR: you get more than what you pay for. This is the best location in Manuel Antonio. Pick a room with ocean view, you will not regret it. You will sleep in the sound of the waves. The staff is even more friendlier than the tico average (which is already quite high standard). They can book for you tours and activities and are always helpful and available. The room is cleaned and arranged more regularly and better than in some 5 star resorts. You have both air conditioning and huge ceiling ventilator, as you prefer. Guests were mostly costarican or european.

Not expected at this price but a fridge would be nice. Also, the bathroom could use some rebuilding - solid and clean but a little 'primitive'. Again, for this bargain price, we personally had no problem with it as it was. Did I already say it was very clean?

Location isn't everything...

It was right next to the national park and beach however this isn't a deal breaker

We were fine with an old hotel room however this was ancient and dirty. Rooms were not clean and outdated. There are other hotels a few mins away which are better choices than this one therefore don't base your decision according to location like we did. We honestly regret booking this hotel and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

nice hotel, but to loud by motorbikes and smell from beach fires, and gas from bus and cars.

much to loud, and smell from fires at the beach, motorbikes race at middle of the night.

Very good

Compared to stays in monteverde and arenal the staff here were a bit stand off-ish. Our room was missing basic essentials like toilet paper and the front desk just tossed one over the counter, no apologies or anything.
