The staff at the hotel were so friendly. It was also well located next to the Manuel Antonio Park, meaning you get to see lots of wildlife from the balcony. The beach is also really close by, just a few minutes walk.
We missed having a bar area. The hotel was pretty quiet when we were there and as such, there was rarely anyone working at the pool bar. There was a restaurant but the food was not amazing and it was not somewhere you could sit to just have a drink in the evening. Also, we had an ant problem in the room on the first day. They came and dealt with them quickly but they came back after a couple of days and we found them in one of the beds, which wasn’t nice.

The grounds were beautiful, with a great pool and nice shortcut to the beach. Once we arrived we were able to leave our car parked and just walk to all the major attractions. The entrance to the national park is right beside. The staff were very helpful with a lot of details that made the stay feel luxurious. Our kids didn't want to leave!! The breakfast buffet was great too!

The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My fiancé was injured before arriving at the hotel and they immediately got her a wheelchair and disabled parking spot, including giving us extra time at hotel due to dealing with the injury. Francisco (receptionist) and Alejandro (restaurant server) as well as other staff were very accommodating with everything from the beginning until the end.
There was no negative with this hotel.

The location of the property is good close to restaurants, the beach and Manuel Antonio national park, but traffic was a nightmare.
The pool area (floor, tables and chairs) and pool were dirty, a film on the water, grit and grin on the bottom of the pool, nothing was ever cleaned after hours. The sun beds were extremely uncomfortable with wooden slats.
The breakfast wasn’t great with flies everywhere, staff didn’t seem bothered that food needing cleaning up to minimize the flies.
The gym was in a sad state with no air con working.
