Justo lo que esperaba

La ubicación excelente, me gusto mucho el trato y las cosas pequeñas como el cóctel de bienvenida. El staff muy atento, y en general no tuvimos muchos problemas. El desayuno bufet estuvo muy bueno. También nos encanto el gato Ginger, y los que ponen que es una desventaja, deberían sentirse avergonzados! La comida del restaurante me pareció muy buena.

El precio de los cocteles y bebidas en el bar es un poco elevado. Entendible por que es caro para turistas extranjeros.

Etwas abgelegenes, gepflegtes Mittelklassehotel mit überteuerten Zusatzleistungen

Sauber. Gepflegte Anlage. Ruhig. Umgeben von Wald. Geräumiges Zimmer. Beanstandung, dass Zimmerschlüssel nicht funktioniert, wurde umgehend geklärt.

Wir waren ohne Auto, daher: 1. Lage fussläufig weiter vom Strand entfernt als erwartet (schlecht zu laufende kurvige Steinstrasse) 2. Kein Wasserspender (selbst în sehr einfachen Hotels zumeist vorhanden în Costa Rica), wenn man den Kauf überteuerter Wasserflaschen im Hotel vermeiden will, muss man ca. 15 min. Fussweg über steinige und dann entlang der Hauptstrasse im Supermarkt Wasser hören 3. Restaurant im Hotel völlig überteuert, da ohne Auto einmal Pizza dort gegessen, nicht zu empfehlen

Schönes Hotel

Tolle Location vom Wald umgeben mit schönem Pool, gemütlichen Liegen und nettem Personal. Wir hatten ein normales Doppelzimmer, was zwar recht klein, aber gemütlich und schick eingerichtet war. Das Buffet ist reichlich (und viel besser als die Variante a la carte).

The place is nice. The fact that the cleaning staff were in our room after 4pm ruined our stay.

Breakfast OK. Inappropriate serving utensils for cheeses and yoghurts.

The cleaning people were in our room AFTER 4pm when we returned from long day at beach. So, we could not enter the room and wash up and relax as we should have been able to do. It ruined the day.

Wonderful!

Beautiful location, truly resort vibes. Nice pool and good breakfast, friendly staff.

Bit fussy with things like laundry bags, checking room at checkout etc.

Satisfactoria y relajante.

Desayuno excelente. Piscina excelente.

No es obligatorio comer en el hotel, pero el restaurante es bastante costoso, muy altos precios y poca variedad del menú. Falta un televisor en la segunda planta de la habitación. Segunda planta de la habitación es muy caliente, apesar del aire acondicionado.

Loved staying in Cocles close to beach east short walk.

The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. loved the terrace and view of jungle and pool. Very friendly staff and the restaurant food was amazing!

We could not get the Netflix to work. The shower did not drain properly.

Really bad and disappointed !!

The location and the parking was very good. The restaurant and maintenance staff was very nice and kind.

I booked based on booking pictures and information an apartment equipped with kitchen, refrigerator, microwave etc and relaxing area. But when we arrived the Front desk lady told us that our reservation was for a simple room, not even had a coffee maker. After we have bought food for cooking we had to look for a place to stock the groceries. We ended in a simple room with a full bed, not even a queen bed, and you could hear the people on the second floor waking by. The Front desk said the information on booking website is not updated, it is not our fault. Another surprise was that we went out during the day and when we came back to the room nobody has cleaned the room. I complained to Front Desk and they said the room are not cleaned everyday, but nobody informed us when we checked in. In the evening we were trying to relax by the pool and a bunch of cats starting going around us trying to get in our room. Awful. the pool is nice but the place is small for so many apartments and rooms. so it was completely crowded and noisy. I am really disappointed.

if the managing would understand that you should no rip off customers that they would have much more consumations at the hotel intern facilitys. because you are bit away from the beach we would also spend more time with the kids at the pool when the prices would be a bit more moderate

Nice place, good location but paper-thin walls provide zero noise-dampening

Nice place and great staff. It's far enough away from the main road that there is pretty much no traffic noise, but still close enough that a short walk of a few minutes gets you to the beach and restaurants.

The main downsides are that the WIFI almost doesn't work inside the unit (but is decent on the balcony/outdoors), and the walls between the units are paper-thin so you may hear a lot of noise from your neighbours, including very early in the morning or late at night. So if you're a light sleeper or easily bothered by noise, keep that in mind. Food at the hotel is on the pricier side.

Superb

All good. We could stay 1h longer to check out so we didnt have to wait for our transfer on the street. Normal basic room was more than enough for 2 people!

LOUD and uncomfortable

The staff was very friendly. The location was close to the beach and town, and felt safe.

There were children screaming all day every day, so loud you could hear them inside with the doors closed. This isn't an amusement park or playground, but you wouldn't know it by the sound coming from the pool, which is right in the middle of all the apartments. The sound amplifies off the buildings and it's all you can here all day long. Good luck working, taking calls, or trying to relax. The staff doesn't seem to think it's a problem. By all means, let the kids use the pool, but the expectation should be they are well behaved and not disturbing literally everyone within a quarter mile. The parents just ignore them and sip cocktails or play on their phone Good for them. I had to leave to get away from the noise because it was so bad. The walls between the apartments are also very thin. Lucky for me, there was a crying baby in the room next door to keep me entertained even after the pool was closed. Each apartment has two full sized beds and four twins. The twins can not be pushed together to make a king. They will tell you the full sized ones are queens, but that is not true. My boyfriend is 6'1 250lbs, and I'm 5'8 and 150, and the two of us could not sleep in any of the beds together comfortably. Additionally, the mattresses are really uncomfortable. If you want to spend your vacation sleeping in a twin bed with a migraine from all the noise, this is the place for you. I spent the whole week trying to get a refund so we could move to a different hotel, and booking.com still hasn't resolved the issue after a week. If you have kids, want them sleeping in a bunk bed 3 feet from you, and like to let them run around and scream all day, this is the right hotel. If you're trying to relax, unwind, and spend time with a romantic partner, go literally anywhere but here.

Spacious little village

Spacious, modern, super clean, well equipped, super staff. Loved the roaring monkeys early morning!

We had a great stay at Terrazas. The pool was amazing and the staff were very friendly! Would love to come back one day.

It’s a bit further away from town/the beach so you will need to walk some rocky roads down to the beach. If you have a car it’s no problem!
