Nestled in Adirondack Mountains, this charming house for $179 per night is a great choice for your next break. Summer Bookings, we only accept six (6) night stays with check in/out days consistent with the Cooperstown Dreams Park schedule, please see their site if you do not have this schedule. 2024 Dreams Parks schedule starts on 5/26/24 and end on 8/30/24. Dreams Park bookings will receive a 100% refund if the park is closed for Covid, the same as we did for our guests going to the park in 2020 and 2021!!! Beautiful 3 bedroom home located directly on the shore of Canadarago Lake just a short fifteen minute drive to downtown Cooperstown. We formerly lived in this home for 10 years and can attest to the fact there is nothing we feel better than lakefront living. We always enjoyed having our early morning coffee overlooking the calm and peacefulness of the lake, many describe it as a mirror or glass because it is usually so calm at that time of the day. If early mornings aren’t your thing then it’s just as beautiful watching the sun set with a glass of wine. The first floor has the kitchen, dining, and living room, which is an open floor plan. Adjacent to the living room is a game room with air hockey, foosball, and a PacMan arcade game set to free play. Additionally we have some board games, toys, and an elliptical for those that want to get in a cardio workout during their stay. The master suite (queen bed) overlooking the lake adjoins the master bath with shower and a jetted two person jacuzzi tub. It has direct access via patio doors to the second floor deck which has amazing views of the lake. The second bedroom (queen bed) also overlooks the lake, has an adjoining bathroom, and direct access to the same deck and serene views. The third bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and a single bed which also has a trundle that slides out from underneath. The home is equipped with a full size washer(detergent supplied), dryer, and dishwasher for your convenience during your stay. There is a fire pit located near the shoreline for relaxing evenings by the fire, we have always enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. Seasonally we also have a fire pit table on the patio. There is also a Blackstone Griddle for your cooking pleasure on the patio. Summer Fun!!! We have a pedal boat/6 kayaks from adult to children sizes, and a paddle board. Over a $1000 value if you were to rent for a week, over $350 value for a 1 day rental!!!! Thinking of bringing your own boat, we have a 40' dock shore master TS9 dock. If you are thinking of a winter stay, once the lake freezes we then always thought of the lake as a huge back yard for cross country skiing, ice fishing, and snow shoes when the conditions are right, you will need to bring your own equipment. In terms of home safety we have a fire extinguisher along with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors located in various locations throughout the home, something we feel every rental home should have to insure the safety of our guests. This is likely not the first or last home you will view in making your decision to stay when visiting the Cooperstown area but rest assure we make every attempt to showcase all aspects of our home so our guests do not experience disappointment and their expectations are met when they arrive! Docks are put in the water in early spring when the water has receded to a level allowing their installation, typically about May 1, earlier if possible, they are removed typically About Nov 1, unless we receive harsher weather earlier than expected, we try to leave them in as long as possible for our guests but it is really weather dependent. Kayaks and patio furniture are put out when the ice melts in the spring and put away in the fall typically Nov 1 unless warmer weather prevails. Our advertised rates are for 4 guests, we offer lower rates for a family of 4. For larger groups there is a small per person per night fee added which will be noted in the price provided by VRBO when you enter your information. Guests who exceed the number of guests they register with us agree to a $100 per night booked, charge back. Thank you for taking the time to view our home and safe travels!

The house was so clean! The views were lovely and the kitchen had all the essentials. We had easy drives to Cooperstown - farmer's market, baseball hall of fame, shopping and Mel's was delicious! Also went to Fly Creek, Ommegang Brewery, and The Farmer's Museum. Location was good and we had plenty of parking. The game room was a nice feature on our rainy weekend!

We loved everything about the house! It is very clean. We enjoyed the lake view and we had a beautiful sunset on the first night. It’s a very comfortable place. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. It’s a great home base for visiting the Hall of Fame and other local sites. We enjoyed the baseball memorabilia/induction certificates of many famous players. My husband had fun playing the PAC Man game. The host responded promptly to any questions. We definitely recommend this house!

We enjoyed our relaxing stay. The weather was very windy so we weren't able to enjoy the outside areas and fire pits. The home is very nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The listing is accurate. Because we rented before Memorial Day very few restaurants were open during the week . Also it should be noted that you enter the home on the bedroom level and have to go down many steps to reach the living/kitchen areas. My husband had a total knee replacement in February so he got built in therapy! Wonderful home - great lake sunsets

Wife's college roommates (+ 2 husbands) - 43 years ago - from 3 states (Oh/NY/SC) ... hoped for great weather. Loved the house and setup - great time (never used the tv). Scenic hills & lake - location, location, location. Lots of cooking - good kitchen, comfy rooms, too rainy/cold for firepit/kayaking ... but, it was all good. Thank you for the opportunity (although detail cleaning was lacking).

Email instructions were accurate and received as promised. The rental property was very nice. Contacted owner with a question and he responded promptly. Very nice lakefront property. Cellphone coverage was almost nonexistent.

The owner was quick to reply with any of our simple questions. The check-in process was a breeze. All the info shared by the owner in advance made finding the home, parking and access so easy. The home itself was even more than the pics showed. Plus it was very clean! There was nothing that we felt was missing and our stay was great, There was plenty of room for us seven women to even be in the kitchen at the same time! The views were amazing. We would go back in a heartbeat. We were there in the winter when the lake was frozen and we could watch people out on the ice...fishing and just strolling. We could only imagine what it would be like in the summer!

The lake house was just perfect for our family getaway. The views of the lake were amazing! The house is very clean and had all of the necessary amenities. Rodney was quick to message us back if we had any questions or concerns. We look forward to the opportunity to stay here again.

The property was beautiful and very spacious. The view of the frozen lake outside was majestic and my mother enjoyed watching it start to thaw. We were able to play with some of the snow and my teenage son was able to experience it for the first time. My son was also very happy with the game room. The only thing to mention is that if you plan to cook anything, you have to supply all condiments and basics. This was more of a small inconvenience but didn't dampen the experience and beauty of the rental. Would definitely stay again if in the area

Amazing sunsets and impressively clean lake, just a short drive from Cooperstown Dreams Park. The house was comfortable and is in a great location. Unfortunately the second floor deck area is in desperate need of a power washing and the south side of the house had stairs and retaining walls in a suspended state of repair that was not acknowledged in the listing.

Three of us baseball moms stayed at the lakeside home while our boys played baseball at Dreams Park. The setting is gorgeous and tranquil. The home is comfortable, well kept and clean inside, however, the outside needs a good pressure washing to clean the bugs from the windows, screens and door thresholds. Rodney was very communicative and responsive. Overall a great stay, only wish we had more time to enjoy the water!
