Nestled in Canyon Lake, this charming house for $745 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Why stay in a hotel when you can be king or queen of your own private hill country ranch? Rancho MIrando is a private ranch featuring a four thousand square-foot hacienda located on fifty acres along the famous 'Devil's Backbone' - one of the most famous scenic tours in Texas. This jewel sits on top of a hill with three hundred and sixty degree panoramic views that are never ending. With expansive decks throughout, the gentle breeze can be enjoyed by all. At the entrance are beautiful, tall wooden doors giving way to the tastefully designed interiors. Boasting furnishings and décor imported from all over the world, this place has it all - including open living, kitchen and dining areas. There are four luscious bedrooms, each of which has its own distinctive theme. No expense has been spared in this meticulously designed showplace which is also perfect for large scale entertaining (for up to 200 people). We are proud to announce that Rancho Mirando has been rated by local brides and voted The Knot Best of Weddings 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and is now in the Knot Hall of Fame! We allow pets on the property, since they want to enjoy a family getaway with you! We allow dogs, cats, pet pigs and birds on site. If you are bringing something different, please let us know. Please keep an eye on your pets as this is a ranch and we do have wild animals on the property. EVENTS DO NOT TAKE PLACE ON THE PROPERTY WHILE OUR VACATION GUESTS ARE RENTING! YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE VRBO AND SURROUNDING PROPERTY TO YOURSELF WITHOUT OTHER EVENTS ON SITE! WEDDING RATES ARE DIFFERENT THAN RENTAL RATES. Enjoy a wonderful dinner admiring the sweeping views through the expansive sliding wooden doors that can be opened to allow the fresh air to circulate through-out the room. On those chilly nights dine indoors in the roomy dining table which sits ten comfortably. The kitchen is a chef's delight, very open, large and unique floor plan that allows room for many assistant chefs. The lovely breakfast table is open to the kitchen as well, providing seating for eighteen including the four stools at the bar and the dining table for ten. This home features beautiful Talavera tile that flows through the entire house. The den offers a 60 inch flat screen television for that great movie you have been waiting to watch with your friends and family. The adjacent sitting room is the place to snuggle up next to the fire and enjoy a great novel. The windows in the circular room provide another place to view the incredible Hill Country and the wild life that goes with it. There are two separate master suites with king size beds, each with their own private bathrooms. Then up to the third bedroom, the Cloud Room, where you will find a queen size bed. For the girl's getaway weekend or for the kids, the fourth bedroom, The Treehouse Room provides two custom bunk beds that uniquely have queen size beds for the lower bunks and full size beds for the upper bunks. Wow, you can feasibly house six adults or eight children in this one room arrangement. If you are more the 'nature lover' take a hike through the three thousand plus lavender plants and the eighty six olive trees ( which are quite rare in Texas) or take a rest on one of the many benches installed throughout this area and watch the magnificent peacocks as they span their feathers and talk to each other. Peacocks and turkeys roam freely on this property. After your fifty acre hike the cool water of your sparkling, private pool will feel so good when you jump in. If you aren't a swimmer just relax in the comfortable lounge chairs and enjoy the spectacular view. Rancho Mirando also has a well-outfitted kitchen outdoors including a large iron smoker, propane grill, sink, refrigerator and seating.
