Located in Ephraim, this attractive house for $375 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Norway Hus is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your vacation. The interior offers plenty of natural light, with a large kitchen, 1/2 bath, and laundry room, counter dining space and dining room, family room and separate living room that leads upstairs to three bedrooms and full bath. The master bedroom and bath on the first level are spacious and luxurious. Beautifully appointed, yet Door County casual furnishings and decor make this house special. The wooded yard is great, too! A deck with table and chairs, BBQ grill and a fire pit, as well as enough room for yard games for family fun. A short walk down Anderson Lane to Eagle Harbor, restaurants, library, shops, boat harbor and launch and public beach is an added benefit. A large enclosed porch offers a hide-a-bed and game table.

Our family stayed in this lovely home and loved the house, yard and location. We were close to all the Door County place we enjoy. The house is located in a quiet, wooded area that's within walking distance to downtown. Super comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and cozy areas for the family to gather.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay with no noise this is it. Quick drive to Sister Bay for shopping and dining. Large bedrooms and plenty of room for an extended family and friends.

The property was perfect for our family of five and two dogs, with plenty of space for everyone and good WiFi for those of us who had to work. The dogs loved having room to run around outside, too. The house was thoughtfully equipped, and everything we needed could be found in a drawer or cabinet. It’s about a 15 minute walk into Ephraim, which we did several times, or a short drive into either Ephraim or Sister Bsy. I would absolutely stay again. It would be GORGEOUS in the fall with the leaves changing.

Very nice and cozy place. Easy to communicate. One small thing that I would change in welcome letter - "guests to bring their own charcoal", otherwise all is organized very well and we found everything we needed. Next time will spend more time

Very pleased with Norway Hus. Found the house incredibly clean with tons of space downstairs to stretch out. Host was very responsive. Shops, restaurants and beach in Ephraim were easily accessible. We really enjoyed our stay!

My brother and I grew up coming to Door County but hadn’t been back with our young families since. We all absolutely loved staying at Norway Haus. The location was perfect, being close enough for a quick drive into town and also centrally located for exploring all of Door County. We loved the large property for lawn games (we brought our own croquet set) and the kids had space to throw a frisbee, kick the soccer ball and run around. We spent lots of time on the back deck and enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife including deer, wild turkeys, and a porcupine. The beds were comfortable and the enclosed front porch was great for late night adult cards and games as not to disturb the sleeping house.

Ephraim is a great location for Door County. Kind of a midpoint on the peninsula for our activities. Norway Hus was a perfect location about a half mile walk to Rt 42, it is very quiet yet close to the action. Kristy was a most considerate host, and I can’t recommend her enough.

This was our first experience in Door County. The area was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. This was a family get together with our adult children, seven total. The house was perfect. First off it was very clean. There is more than enough room with the size of the house for everyone to spread out between the living room, front porch and tv room. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen very well stocked with most everything we needed. The house was well supplied with towels, bathroom items, cleaning supplies, washing machine, etc. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets. The yard has a nice deck, grill, fire pit, fire wood and room for the dogs to run. The neighbors are a decent distance away giving us privacy. The house was very homey. It’s a short walk to town, but it is downhill. We enjoyed long walks, biking, miniature golf, hanging in the yard in our hammocks and playing with the dogs. We couldn’t have had a better rental. It’s a wonderful place for a sizable group.

Located in a quiet forested residential neighborhood this home was the perfect place for a summer vacation. Large trees shaded a lawn for kids to play while adults relaxed on a backyard patio or large front parch. There is a large well equipped kitchen, den/TV room, large dinning room as well as a front sitting room. Every room is tastefully decorated to add to a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere, We can’t wait ro come back.

Very easy check in. The property is off the beaten path, very peaceful but still close the everything. Great morning walk down to the waterfront. Grandkids loved the big yard and fire pit. Everything you need is there. Very well kept up, comfy beds, kitchen well equipped. Loved the master bed retreat away from the other bedrooms.

We rented the Norway Hus for our annual family trip to Door County. We had a fabulous time. It’s an older home, with all the charm that goes with the home of that era, but with all modern conveniences. It was so clean, comfy, and cozy, and a perfect location. Brad, the host, communicated well. We’d definitely come back!

Among the many great features we enjoyed were the three separate living/family rooms - each with it's own charm and furnishings. The wide carpeted stairs made for easy access to second floor. All beds and furnishings were very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is spacious with big island bar and stools and well stocked cabinets with nice, clean dishware, pots and pans and small electrical appliances. We easily walked to Ephraim with small kids in stroller. It's obvious a lot of loving, expert craftsmanship went into the refurbishing of this unique older house which is decorated with a variety of interesting artwork and furniture. It was a real treat to call this place home during our stay in beautiful Door County.

I could tell you that this house was immaculately clean, that the beds were comfortable, the towels fluffy and numerous, the rooms spacious and charming, the yard large and pretty, the location ideal. I could tell you all these true things, but then more people will want to stay there, and I might not get to book this wonderful house again. So I will not say those things! 🤫

Everything we needed was on hand in this cottage. We enjoyed cooking in well équipes kitchen and lots of fluffy towels in the baths. The beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. It was so nice to be able to bring the family pet as well. We hope to stay again.
