About this cottage rental

Situated in Torch Lake, this lovely cottage for $500 per night is a great option for your next break. Fall in love with this charming cottage steps away from one of the best spots on the lake. We welcome you to our cottage featuring 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, newly furnished with all new bedding, towels, furniture, and appliances. Enjoy the best of indoor/outdoor living with expansive sliding glass doors that walk out to a fully furnished bi-level patio with plenty of room for entertaining. Our sandy bottom beach is the perfect place for kids to play and adults to relax. We have a manager nearby to assist if needed. No pets. PARKING/RENTALS Parking is available for 5 vehicles. They must be parked in the driveway and off the road at all times. If they need to be relocated for any reason you will be responsible for any fee that incurs. Dock is not to be used to secure any watercraft and jet skies should not come to shore. Option to rent any and all toys from nearby marina. Slip rental available. COURTESY Township ordinance requires quiet time after 10pm. No parties & gatherings should be limited to 14 people total unless you have prior approval from property manager. If cleaning crew exceeds the standard amount of time allotted for cleaning rental after your check out you will be charged for the additional time. So please take care of rental as you would your own home and follow check out instructions in guest handbook.

We were in town for the International Firework show in Traverse City and my daughters 7th birthday! We came the second week of September. The high was about 70 for two days and then cooler the rest of the time. With sunshine it was warm enough to play on the beach and my kids loved it! It was so cool to look out the window and see all the boats at the sandbar out in front but yet not hear any loud noise either! It was perfect! We had a bonfire and made s’mores and left the doors open to hear the waves- even when it was cooler. This home is SO cozy, and so perfectly spaced out, that even without hot weather and using the lake the whole time- it’s still wonderful! I have YET, until now, stayed in a VRBO, with the right amount and size of beds in each rooms that make such perfect sense AND were comfortable! Myself, my husband, 2 kids & my parents had so much room without even using all the rooms! It was very clean as well! The two full baths were wonderful and the downstairs tub is very roomy- my kids had plenty of room for a bath. Everything we needed was there, there isn’t anything I could even suggest to add- it’s fully stocked. A big thing for me when I do VRBO’s is I will not rent from a rental company. I only rent from families. I have seen a big difference in the care of the home. The Z family loves this home and it’s well cared for! We hope to visit again sometime, we created great family memories and the location doesn’t get anymore perfect than this! Thank you!

Great location. First time at Torch and the adults and kids had a blast. Short stay of only 3 nights and we could've stayed longer! We would 100% rebook this accommodation. Proximity to the store, sandbar, restaurant, etc. was a huge plus. Super clean. Loved the fire pit. Was very easy to hook up our boat to the provided buoys.

Thanks for the perfect week, your home is beautiful, had everything we could ever need right at our fingertips! Nice little towns in close range as well as beautiful golf courses....not to mention carribean colored waters right out the back door!

The house was clean and nicely furnished. The location was perfect, right across from the sandbar. We spent the majority of our time on the patio or in the water. The only negative was that the septic tank was being pumped while we were trying to put everything in our cars for checkout. Other than that, we’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful views, great location . Outdoor patio was perfect. Kayaks and standup board was great for Going to the sandbar. Plenty of amenities including essentials for the kitchen !

We have taken a few family vacations as a new blended family so far - North Carolina, Mackinac, Montana, and now Torch Lake. We loved them all, but this house made Torch Lake our favorite. To be able to sit on the patio and watch the water, the sandbar activity, hear the waves, feel the breeze, and have room to spread out was worth every penny. We would even return here, despite some of us being non-repeaters when it comes to vacations! One note - if you saute anything for any length of time, use both living room and kitchen overhead fans or else the smoke detectors will go off!

This property is amazing with the best location on torch lake! Very clean and well maintained, the Sandbar is extremely close and watched sunrises from the back patio and dock every morning, so so beautiful! Definitely worth every penny!!!

This home was wonderful! This was our first time in Michigan and at Torch lake, and the water was the most beautiful we've seen. Our family stayed here with another family and it was a perfect size with 4 bedrooms. The home was stocked with everything we needed! The patio and dock was amazing for our morning coffee, kayak and paddle boards rides on the crystal clear water to go out to the sandbar to fish. We loved the location near the sandbar and the marinas. The kids loved walking to the Torch Shack to get ice cream, and it was easy to get the boat to the boat slip at the marina. Having the mooring buoys there for use was helpful as well. It was chillier a couple days and we were able to visit some other areas of Michigan, sleeping bear dunes, Cellar 1914 winery (kids loved it as much as we did), and Elk Rapids (got there by boat). Check in/Check out was easy and Hayley was very responsive. I highly recommend staying here!!

Great location in northern Michigan close to my family. Quiet area especially if u have kids and the neighbors are great! The house is right in front of the sandbar which is great to kayak out to (when available). Super clean and cozy and had everything you needed. The skylights throughout the house were some of our favorite touches along with the panoramic sliding doors to overlook the lake. Can’t wait to come back here when we visit family!

I am very happy we found this place! We had a wonderful time despite the weather not being perfect. The house itself had everything we needed, very clean and nicely done, all new beds, carpet, furniture. The lake view was amazing, the water warmer then we expected. Special thanks for two kayaks available for use, for porch cover that we really appreciated during rains, everything inside and outside has been done with taste. The area is very nice, safe, friendly.! I am looking forward to be back

When our travel plans got cancelled, we scrambled for a plan B. Wow did we get lucky with finding Z cottage available for our dates. This cottage is perfect with exceptional attention to detail. Nicely appointed and furnished with all the amenities. The location on Torch lake is as perfect as the lake itself.
