About this cottage rental
Nestled in Ogunquit, this lovely cottage for $232 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. We are committed to following cleanliness guidelines for our guests. We were dedicated to providing a clean experience before Covid 19 ( see past reviews over the years) and now have enhanced protocols. This one bedroom cottage is located in the heart of Ogunquit. It doesn't get much better than this location. Park the car and never get back in it. Walk to the main beach, restaurants, the Marginal Way, the Ogunquit Playhouse and Perkins cove. We provide Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs and an umbrella to make life easy for you. No need to pack in the car. The cottage has 1 bedroom with queen bed, a large living room that has a Pottery Barn pull out sofa bed, full kitchen with a kitchen table that seats 4, 4 burner stove, refrigerator, a must have washer & dryer, AC, beach towels, outdoor deck with Adirondack chairs and a gas grill. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this lovely cottage. The cottage itself is cozy, comfortable, pristine and well-equipped. Plenty of space for two adults and a small (16 lb) dog. The location is ideal. A short walk to the north endpoint of Marginal Way. Highly recommend.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Deirde’s cottage for Christmas. It was in a perfect location near downtown Ogunquit with easy access to Route 1 and a walk away from the beach & Marginal Way. Communication was proactive and clear which made it seamless to check in. The space was even larger than we expected. We look forward to staying here again!

This detached cottage unit tucked behind hedges/trees from the main house was just what we needed for our first road trip with our rescue dog. VERY neat & clean, and appointed with anything you would need for a vacation; also easy off-street parking! We did not need to use our car for anything while we were there. The unit is in a small residential side-street, within walking distance to everything - Marginal Way (1-2 blocks), Ogunquit town center (3-4 blocks), Perkins Cove (about 1 mi), Ogunquit Playhouse (0.25 mi), etc. The only potential downside would be that kitchen counterspace is a little limited IF you are doing meal prep. The cottage has a bedroom, kitchen area with small (2-3 person) table, and living area. We had enough room while there (4 days) but we were out & about a lot and were not inside the entire time. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable for our family of three and our two dogs. The bed was very comfortable too. Deidre was a great host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It was close enough for a quick drive into town. We would definitely stay again.

We just spent 2 weeks at this lovely cottage and our stay could not have been more perfect for the 2 of us and our dog.
From the minute we opened the door the vibe was wonderful...the decor is simple "beachy cottage". Comfortable furniture and aesthetic details made this very welcoming. We spent everyday taking the short walk from this property to Ogunquit Beach, town and shops, Marginal Way to Perkins Cove (never getting in the car) and loved coming back relaxing and hanging out in the living space...or outside on the deck.
This cottage is located on a street bordered by Route 1 and Shore Road but it is very quiet and private, framed by lots of trees and thoughtful landscaping...a small zen space.
AND it was so clean! Our host stocked the bathroom and kitchen with everything we could need. We cooked meals in the small but perfectly appointed kitchen and the bathroom was great.
Lots of thoughtful extras were anticipated...beach towels, beach chairs, extra blankets, nice TV and the washer and dryer were so appreciated. Smooth sailing all around!
Our host was responsive, very easy and friendly to communicate with. We have been coming to Ogunquit for 30 years, it is a special place, and we will most definitely stay here again!

The cottage is in a lovely quiet neighborhood close to everything! Walkable to the beach, Marginal Way, and all the shops and restaurants in Ogunquit. You truly never need to get into your car again while staying here. It was so clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a little beach getaway! We also had our 12-year-old, very nervous, small dog who is often very nervous in rental situations, but even she was completely at ease here. The cabin does not feel small at all, it is very comfortable with a large couch and chair by a big window looking out at trees and grass, the kitchen has a nice stove and refrigerator, the bathroom is spacious and the little porch with Adirondack chairs is perfect for sitting and chilling. There are also backpack beach chairs and a beach umbrella. Great communication in general, but especially when we got a little nervous to go due to the impending possible chaos of a tropical storm. We would 100% stay here again!

We loved this dog-friendly property because it felt like a secluded oasis when we wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown but also within relatively easy walking distance of the beach, marginal way, Perkins Cove, restaurants, and shops that make Ogunquit a special place to visit. This charming cottage is very clean and well-equipped to make your stay great. Our dog loved the ample yard and we even grilled steaks on a night we chose to dine-in. You won’t regret renting this property!

The park right next to the house plays music every Sunday, which happened to be an Elvis impersonator who was great. Walking down the main road drops you right at the start of the Marginal Way walking path taking you to Perkins Cove where there was great food and shops. The cottage was spotless when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable, even the pullout sofa bed was comfortable according to our son who spent a night.Deirdre was very nice and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this cottage to friends.

This delightful little cottage is exactly as pictured and described! A quick walk down the lane brought us to the entrance of the magnificent (and not to be missed) Marginal Way, while a short jaunt in the other direction brought us to downtown Ogunquit with it’s delightful shops. The cottage is perfectly maintained and spotless, and the grounds are lovely. It’s comfy and pretty and perfect! I can’t recommend it more highly!

From parking on the Pebblestone driveway to walking down, the slate rock pathway to seeing the cottage, was literally something out of a Hallmark movie. Birds are chirping, open the door, and it is clean and bright. The cottage was big enough for the three of us. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners for a brief moment, and they were very polite and kind. The cottage was everything as described and so much more. We will definitely be going back my family and I. If you are looking for a place that is peaceful, hidden but close to marginal Way and shops, then this is a place you want to be. I highly recommend it to anybody. The only negative thing, is that we did not stay longer. Absolutely loved it. Loved loved loved it.

I highly recommend staying here when visiting Ogunquit, Maine. This property is within walking distance of Ogunquit Beach and the Perkins Cove Harbor. The accommodations are spacious and include all the comforts and conveniences of home The property is also located near many restaurants and shops. It's very private with beautiful landscaping. Can't wait to book our next trip!!
