Located in Sunset Beach, this lovely house for $2,320 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Nestled on the shoreline of the iconic Sunset Beach on Oahu’s North Shore, is Blue Mahina. This custom 4BD, 3BA home offers nearly 3000 sqft. of open living space with captivating ocean views of the Pacific Ocean. After entering through the private iron wood gate, you’ll pass through glass French doors to the main living area. Here you will find a gourmet kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances that includes a gas range, wine fridge, and a dishwasher and beautiful concrete countertops with sea glass inlays. There is a formal dining table for 8 and 3 counter top barstools. Off the kitchen is the great room, with high ceilings, wood floors, and brick-lined walls, this is the perfect spot to lounge and watch the surf come in or relax and watch a movie on the large flat screen television. Besides the multiple chairs and couches, there is also a large day bed, ideal for a catnap or to serve as an additional sleeping area. There is an assortment of books and games to help you pass the time as well. The dining room has glass bi-folding doors that open up to the covered lanai and epic ocean views. There is an additional outdoor dining table and a gas bbq to help you best enjoy those warm Hawaiian sunsets. A little wooden gate and a small set of stairs lead you right to the sands of Sunset Beach! The home also offers an array of beach equipment (beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, noodles) to contribute to your day of fun in the sun. After your adventures in the turquoise waters, rinse off the enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower then relax in the manicured lawn in the outdoor folding chairs. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The first bedroom has a King bed and the second bedroom has two Twins and a King. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and also a door that leads to the outside. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom and the fourth bedroom. The master has stunning ocean views from the King bed as well as from the oversized soaking tub. The bedroom has a large window seat that over looks the sea below and there is also a gas fireplace that opens to both the bedroom and the bathroom. The master bath has a walk in shower with 6 separate body sprays and his/her sinks. The fourth bedroom has a Queen bed and a writing desk. Its en-suite bathroom has a custom Rota Steam Shower. All four bedrooms have A/C including the front room (living room / dining room / kitchen combo area). Disclosure: The amount of sand located in front of Blue Mahina and surrounding area depends on the ocean conditions. There are stairs from the yard to the ocean. The North Shore of Oahu, also known as the 7 Mile Miracle, offers a unique blend of art galleries, cafes and shops. Outdoor adventures of all kinds are to be had here including surfing, snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and much more! Private and gated and set on a idyllic white sand beach and just a bike ride away from all that town has to offer. Blue Mahina offers six beach cruiser bikes for guests to enjoy the 7 Mile Miracle Bike Path that runs from Sunset Beach to Waimea Bay. Blue Mahina is the perfect north shore getaway! The house was absolutely perfect to accommodate us and our family. The view, location and beach access was perfect. We had everything we needed, including dishes, towels, laundry amenities, etc. Chad, the manager was extremely friendly and available when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to rent this house again in the future.

All in the family

The property was as advertised. The drive from the street was very narrow. We were in a full sized suv and a 4 door jeep pickup. I would say if you want a city atmosphere this not for you. It is a beach area and is a great location for all the world renowned beaches ( sunset beach banzai pipeline and Waimea bay with the great jumping rock ) no complaints in our group of 11. Great for beach goers. Great rear deck for relaxing and watching awesome sunsets

We had a great time with family and friends over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was fully equipted to make a great dinner! The views were amazing! The house is well stocked and you can't beat the master shower! I would stay again!

We loved the house on the ocean for its view, the spaciousness and amenities! It was so close to all our activities! We went in June and the weather was so wonderful with a breeze. We had bikes and boogie boards! Everything was terrific but just mention need for more bath towels as we had a lot of people. We would recommend this house to everyone!

Paradise

Paradise

This was a trip of a lifetime for my family. We live in Southern California so are used to the beach but nothing compared to the North Shore. We surfed and snorkeled in front of the house as well as other local beaches. The house was fantastic and accommodated our large group. Everyone said they wanted to stay longer and no one wanted to leave. Our host Chad gave us a tour and explained all the details of the house. We went on adventures daily but the best was star gazing on the deck at night. Perfect vacation spot. We would definitely book again

We did a staycation over Thanksgiving week at the Blue Mahina and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. The house has a great set up- the deck, the back bedroom for the teens, the family room, the location on Sunset Beach, the stocked kitchen for cooking and the VIEW. The views and the sound of waves are hypnotic. The location is awesome - the teens got in amazing surfing and the rest enjoyed watching.

We try to book here again right after we leave. Unfortunately, it wasn't available but we will come back! Chad was great to respond to any issues we had. It was a bit of cumbersome to not have a dishwasher for a week. And if I have any suggestions, the kitchen needs a bit more organization. I even tried to clean up a bit as dishes are all over and hard to find. I liked lots of spices and some dry goods are left for us to use. The location was perfect. We walked to Sunrise Shack(Acai Bowl) and Thai food truck, Ted's bakery is walking distance so is Pipe. I really hope to come back this house soon.

A wonderful find! We had a lovely relaxing stay away from crowds and noise. We were a group of seven adults and one baby and we were all quite comfortable with the accommodations. The house had a warm and inviting feel to it. Like a home away from home. Very welcoming with everything you would need. The beach was great, The sunsets fabulous. Food trucks near by. Bikes and bike path were fun. It was warm in July but plenty of fans were provided. Only thing I would recommend is an umbrella for the deck and new beach chairs. A beautiful part of Oahu to visit. Property management was friendly and helpful from the beginning of the process to the end. Thank you!

Thanks so much to the concierge service that Rachel provided. She had excellent recommendations and made arrangements with Windy who stocked the kitchen with her shopper services. Chad the property manager was there to greet us with lights and fans on! These things made our arrival especially welcoming. The property was exactly as shown and expected. The parking was a bit tricky for our van, but Chad showed us the trick and it was smooth sailing after that. We had a jammed packed week from whale watching from the patio deck, seeing a monk seal resting directly on our beach. Quick drives to Turtle Bay resort for a round of spectacular golf, kayaking with the turtles, snorkeling, and surf lessons. Then down the road to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a wonderful luau and beautiful theater show (we did these things over a period of 3 days). A 30 minute drive from the Blue Mahina home we toured Pearl Harbor. The film and tours were enjoyed and discussed many times since. Wait we didn't stop there to finish out our trip we visited Foodland the Grocery store purchased supplies for steak dinner barbecue on the deck including grilled pineapple from the Dole Plantation! The Blue Mahina is centrally located so we could jam pack so much into our one weeks stay and still have plenty of down time on the deck watching not only the ocean but also the stars at night! The Blue Mahina was perfect for 2 families! Beach is right out the back door, patio is an amazing place to tan and hang out, and the waves can be heard from every bedroom! Highly recommend!
