Schöner Zufluchtsort zentral in Varanasi

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und trotzdem mitten im Geschehen. Wir fanden Varanasi teilweise sehr überwältigend, daher war es sehr schön, einen Zufluchtsort mit Klimaanlage zu haben :) Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant direkt neben dem Haus, Aadah Aadah!

Für uns persönlich war das Bett zu weich, obwohl es sehr groß war.

comfortable, clean and quite stay in the middle of Varanasi.

the accommodation was very clean, had a nice smell, very comfortable and cosy. Staff was super helpful and polite. Our stay felt like a little break from traveling.

if I had to say something, the only downside were the kitchen facilities that were rather basic and the laundry service was quite expensive (25 Rupien a big piece). It didn’t compromise our stay at all though, I can still highly recommend Ram Bhawan.

Divine from the first step

It's amazing house and it gives a feeling of proper heritage. Ashu is super helpful and every one is very helpful .

I loved everything about this place. Our room was beautiful, with wooden furniture, comfy bed, a desk and plenty of space to put our things. Common area is spacious and has a swing! Rooftop Cafe serves delicious foods and the best coffee. There's a water filter and a fridge, the people are just lovely, and most importantly the hotel is right by the river, which is the main point of interest in Waranasi. If I could, I'd gladly extend my stay there. I will definitely come back. If you're looking for a place to stay in Waranasi you can't find a better hotel - it greatly adds to the authentic experience of the city

There are no downsides, but definitely watch out for the steps - there's plenty of them and its easy to trip in the dark

If you are a solo traveller looking for peaceful stay near ghat, this place is best option to stay.

Very peaceful and old charm beauty of banaras. Enjoyed.

2 minutes away from Munshi Ghat, which is just two Ghats away from dashashwamedh Employees are friendly and helpful, food at the cafe upstairs is outstanding! Rooms are big, there are common restrooms and kitchen on every floor An old and well kept property, feels homely.

Access to the property is cumbersome, backpackers with just something on their back will be okay. Families or others with suitcases etc, will find it challenging. They do offer to arrange a porter for you at additional cost. Going anywhere other than the ghats from that location is quite a hike via narrow lanes.

Property is very neat and clean, situated at very calm place. Good ambience. Roof top cafe , ganga views. Everything's Just exceptional. Shalini ji is very charming. Ashu,Shiv and dharmendra, these guys are awesome. Fun. Loving. Very helpful. Serves very good breakfast and dinner. They will be there for you all your queries. Multitasking. Just go for it without even giving a second thought. You would love it.

We really enjoyed both Gwalior Fort and the Gurdwara … definitely worth spending a few nights here.

Staff here were welcoming. The property has a lot of character and sits back off the road so it’s quite quiet.

The room and bathroom were very dated. Some fresh light coloured paint and a few updates on furniture / drapes would make such a difference and could fetch the owner a higher nightly rate.

We stayed there just for a one night but experience were really good ,you can feel there peaceful and safe even it’s loud city . we reach Varanasi with Taxi but hostel is inside small streets, the host staff were waiting for us in Main Street just to bring us until right place . we can suggest this place

A great stay

Great hostel in a renovated historic house, with a popular café on the roof terrace. The staff was very kind, helpful and informative. The manager Shalini in particular was extremely available and reactive, complying with any request, no matter the short notice. I was staying in an individual room, which was nice and comfortable. Also quite safe, the outside door is always locked from the inside, and there's always somebody for the hostel ready to open it, even during the night. The location is also great, deep within tiny streets filled with little cafés and bars, 5 minutes walking distance from the main ghat. Bonus: filtered water available for drinking

The small alleys were it is located can be a little bit disturbing at night, especially because of the stray dogs roaming around, though they do not seem aggressive, and the streets are illuminated

It was OK.

it is proximity to mighty river Ganges and within walking distance to Kashi Viswanath Temple.

it was not worth value of money. Bedsheets and towels were old and torn. We were expecting better facility within this price. Breakfast choices were also not available.
