It’s like going back in time, very charming

Excellent breakfast. We had the dinner appetizers, a bit on the expensive side but, oh so good!!!

Charming and romantic

I drove past for years and finally stayed here! I would stay again. Good variety of breakfast foods.

Not staying longer. Missed a concert in the auditorium.

Very good

Breakfast was great. Place is charming. Staff super friendly & helpful. Shower tiny. Noise during middle of night from below my room wakeful. Construction crews next door arrived at 8:00 - so much for sleeping in!

I really enjoyed my cozy, cheerful room and delicious breakfast.

Chef Chris makes the most wonderful breakfast omelets to order. This is such a warm, wonderful welcoming inn. All of the staff are extremely friendly and the fact that it’s open in the winter is a well kept secret- I am so glad that I found this place!

I would not change a thing!

Third floor was a climb. The food is always great and the staff is wonderful. Stay if you can.

always super clean, very good staff & bar, food service terrific at the Terrace Inn! Belinda is a very welcoming manager ( she recognized me immediately from past stays) and looks out for guests with plenty of local tips!

My stay was excellent it couldn’t have been better ❤️

The woman that served us breakfast worked the day we arrived. She Had such a good spirit . Me an my fiancé Was the first to make it down for breakfast. She welcomed us in the area , served us breakfast from a variety Of things. I absolutely loved my stay !

A very lovely inn in a beautiful location!

What a lovely inn! The breakfast was superb. The inn's history and ambiance was wonderful, the staff was kind and helpful. We booked 2 nights and so glad we did. It was a very relaxing stay. We also booked one of the dinners, which was first-class. This would be a great stay for a special occasion.

Historical hotel in an historical community with great atmosphere.

Terrace Inn is an historical building in the middle of the historical Bay View Association. Experiencing the restored 1911 era building and decor was a pleasure.

The rooms are adequate but very small and there is minimal sound insulation between rooms. We shared the hotel with a wedding party and were able to hear most of their conversations way past midnight.

Charming property in a beautiful setting with a lovely staff.

The staff and one of the owners took very good care of us. They were most friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but dinner was extraordinary.

Our shower was small. When we stay again will pay for an upgrade.

Great staff and great historical place to stay.

Breakfast was outstanding and I didn’t realize it came with the room cost. The 1911 restaurant is also outstanding.

Will not be going back.

Dinner was awesome. We loved the location.

We entered our room late. The couple next to us was fighting. We could hear everything. My partner turned his music on his phone....low to hope to drown them out. They called the front desk complaining. When she came up her comments were condescending as if we were up there swinging from the chandelier. We were treated as if we were children. They yelled things through the wall at us after she left. We are in our sixties and clearly not teenagers. The next morning when my partner went down to talk to the front desk about this we received very automatic responses regarding the 11:00 PM noise rule. We asked to be moved and there wasn't any availability to do this. We asked for our money back and again got a text book response. NO APOLOGY. Her attitude smelled of "I don't care." I have stayed at this property before and was very disappointed this time. My partner left his business card so that the manager Morris could call him. NO response or call back. We moved out and checked into another local hotel where we were treated as adults and customers. This area in Michigan has plenty of hotels to stay in. Unfortunately, we will not be going back to this one.

Price is good for a short stay.

Breakfast was good but limited menu

Floor was very slanted and the head of the bed was lower than the foot of the bed. Chairs were not comfortable. Most of the reading areas were too dark. Climbing up the stairs is hard for older people.

antique charm but not lacking sufficient electrical outlets and up to date plumbing and fixtures. The shower was superb.

our door did not latch unless it was locked. They did not begin serving breakfast (which deserved to be savored) until 8:00 when our conference began in a neighboring town sharply at 9:00.

The location is wonderful. Food and staff are great, no complaints!

The breakfast was exceptional. We had the prix fix 3-course dinner, it was a great value for the money. The room was perfect.

My room door was wide open when I first arrived at the hotel.
