Spacious Inn in a beautiful area with generous hosts

The host was very generous and accommodating because I had to change my check-in date two times due to delays. One of the nights there was a power outage in the entire town and the hosts were able to turn on their portable generator and keep the kitchen and hot water running while providing electricity in the dining area. The breakfast was very tasty and they provided service to each and every guest's requested time. The room was very spacious and a clean bathroom. They also provided a very generous coffee/tea kiosk in the hallway for all guests to use and it even had a microwave and a refrigerator. They also had a patio and a great view of the coast and the water was very calm because of how far inland the area was. You can see beautiful sunsets from the patio and the place is sunny all times of the day. Also the servers and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Perfect.

The breakfast was laid out really nicely. The whole team there are amazing & really friendly. It was very homely and I felt the genuine warmth. And clean...well,... staggering so! DON'T DALLY BOOK NOW - YOU'LL LOVE IT

The Inn was a real bright spot on our coastal drive.

The breakfast was good. The view of the river from the patio deck was great. We caught an amazing sunset there. The property, having a long and interesting history, was very charming and picturesque. The staff was terrific too.

Nice place for a short stay.

Tiny motel in an old and very nicely setup house. Very unique and nice place. They have a nice restaurant and patio in the same house. Nice breakfast included.

The room did not have TV, microwave or fridge.

A very enjoyable stay.

The owner and the staff were extremely friendly and kind. We had one supper at the inn. It was very tasty and very well prepared. The menu had lots of choice. The room and bathroom were very clean. The location was ideal for our needs. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The room was quite small but had everything that we needed.

cute B&B, sparkling clean, staff and owner were super nice. restaurant was closed for the public on a Monday, but we (as guests) could get dinner. the German-style dishes were yummie!! sunset view from the patio/garden is awesome.

The location was perfect; right on our route.

The breakfast could have included some cereal and/or fruit. If you didn't want yogurt, there was only toast and jam and pound cake.

Good country in not too far from Halifax airport.

Well located riverside country inn. Good room and jacuzzi bath. Good choices in dining room for supper. Early snack breakfast provided prior to driving (45mins) to airport

Could not make air con work so resorted to opening windows!

Nice quiet location in the country with a great restaurant.

Continental breakfast was good, comes with a fresh homemade muffin.

Need soap and shampoo in the bathroom.

Wonderful hospitality!!

Breakfast was uniquely continental and presented with elegance. The on-site restaurant served dinners to guests on evening that it was closed to the public. Very convenient and gracious to do so. Food was excellent, genuine German!!

We had an enjoyable stay, and if not further stairs would stay again.

It was in a great location, with convenient parking.

The stairs to get to the rooms were very steep.

Nice quiet little Inn, beautiful views of the river and mountain.

Rooms are small,bathroom really tiny. Would have liked to have a refrigerator and TV in the room.

Beautiful place to stay right next to the river,we had a small room overlooking the river,small but extremely comfortable and no TV but that didn't bother us too much as the scenery was so beautiful to look at.Evening meal was fantastic and the breakfast was amazing exceeded all expections.Would highly recommend anybody to stay here.

No TV/Fridge in the room.

Very good

The Inn is in a lovely setting next to the river with the dining room and deck overlooking. Dinner and breakfast were very nice. If you like to kayak there is a public boat ramp just across the river. We had a peaceful, beautiful paddle for several miles.

Wonderful stay at a first rate Inn and exceptional restaurant.

The dinner was exceptional. Best German food. Wonderful view of river while dining. The staff was exceptional, so friendly and accommodating.
