it was such a magical stay! perfect 4 nights with our 2 year old twins! the staff was so kind and accommodating: everyone was super sweet to our children (Especially Ariani, the restaurant staff and Leah). We got a Nanny (Nanda) to look after the kids, while we went snorkeling and to the spa and that worked out perfectly: my children were hugging her after the 2 days and totally loved her. Even for a (well traveled) city mouse like me, it felt amazing to be in the middle of the nature, still with all comfort.
If you’re hesitating because of the children or wilderness, just go! the water is so gorgeous, lots of snorkeling possibilities right at the hotel and in the day tour to menjangan! magical!! thanks to everyone for making us feel like home, in paradise.
would be great to have a kids-club / room or playground. but this didn’t stop our children from having a great time playing with the sand at the beach and collecting shells!

Amazing property away from the hassle of regular bali.
Small boat ride drops you in a remote forest area, only the resort there. Surrounded by nature, wild grey and black monkeys, deer roaming along the beach as you have afternoon tea makes it a truly special place.
The staff are all friendly and welcoming with a smile.
The room is spacious and comfortable.
Spa is only small but the ladies give an amazing massage and scrub for my wife.
Restaurant offers a variety of food well prepared, presented and tastes great.
Pool nice a clean.
Snorkeling straight of the jetty can see many different species of fish.
Highly recommend visiting.
Some maintenance is required but not enough to stop us enjoying ourselves and wanting to come back and recommend to anyone.

Unique, out of they way, low key Bali experience in an amazing environment.
They need a barista. Also the grey monkey's agressivness needs to be managed.

For contact and connection with nature this place is superb. The snorkelling trip from the resort was outstanding. Food was good and surprisingly reasonable cost.
The accommodation is of a similar standard to what you would get for a lower price in other areas. But you are essentially paying for the location. Hotel could consider beach clean ups with guests as activity. Not hotels fault but depressing amount of plastic washes up on the beautiful reefs and beach.

Stunning location to see the national park and appreciate Bali off the beaten tourist track. Staff were so attentive and the whole resort was based around nature and making sure the tourists fitted into this stunning environment and respected it.

The property is in a National park! How exciting to have had the experience of truly living in a park. There were deer that lived on the grounds that you could actually ‘hang out’ with! The black monkeys (and their babies) also made several visits (including waking us up one morning by jumping on our roof). There are loud geckos that lived right next to the room. Great thing is we had a huge mosquito net that covered our bed and housekeeping made sure it was tucked in correctly every evening.
The location is remote with no roads leading to NusaBay. One has to take a 20 minute boat ride from across the bay. There is shore snorkeling (no fee 😊) and lots of activities offered for a fee. The lodge food was great with the restaurant on the beach. There was a daily afternoon tea with some snacks (no fee). There was also morning coffee at the restaurant (since there were not any tea/coffee kettles in the room). The sunsets were beautiful here!
With the remote location we were concerned about extra and expensive added costs. The lodge was probably the most generous place we have stayed with all the extras they provide (tea time, afternoon snacks and free snorkeling). The pool was also lovely. We stayed here 4 nights and would have enjoyed staying a couple more.

My favourite place on Bali. Friendly staff - everyone knows you, very helpful. Great massage and spa. Perfect food. You can see different animals at the property.

If you want to be off the beaten track, far away from TV, shops, other people and want to immerse yourself in nature and silence in an unpretentious and natural way; this is for you. The rooms with their huge and comfy beds look into the forest, the beach is a 3min walk away. A stunning old wooden pier makes for great sunrise and fish-watching. The restaurant serves good quality meals al day long and for the rest; just enjoy one of the last places on earth that is this- remote, quiet, still and at peace with itself.
Agang was a wonderful host, Pudu a magnificent walking guide.
I would have loved a kettle in my room for morning tea but all else was wonderful.

Nice and quiet resort with cabins at a reasonable distance from each other. Extra afternoon cleaning made the stay extra comfortable. The bed was excellent and a small afternoon tea/coffee with snack made it extra welcome. Great snorkelling right off the beach.
No water heater in the room. But you can get hot water at the bar. Despite it being a national park there is still a lot of plastic on the beaches right outside the hotel area.

Beautiful nature resort,very friendly staff, rooms are pretty cool, we took introductory diving lesson - really good and snorkeling trip - awesome. Alao hat derp tissue masage, was good😀👍 Loved our little getaway through and through!!!
More variety on Indonesian food maybe and prices are for some things a little but to high. But overall really worth it!

Beautiful location, very friendly staff. Nice arrangements for snorkeling nearby. Many wild animals like monkeys and dear in front of the bungalows. This is a very special experience!
Food quality and choice are fine.
Bungalows and landscaping are due for renovation. A bit too much concrete used. Location is a bit remote. You cannot leave the resort except by boat.

This place is PARADISE. Period. If you want a few days away from all the craziness in Bali, just stay here. I know it's far from everything, but it's worth it. The beach is clean, the water is perfect, it's so quiet and so calm, there's no one around, the scenery is amazing, there are monkeys and deer around, they offer so many different activities and their food is simply delicious. I keep dreaming of this place since I went back home. I cannot even describe the sadness I felt once I had to leave, because this place was a dream coming true. All the staff were so nice to us, they celebrated my husband's birthday (by surprise!), they took care of us, always checking if we needed something. They are truly what someone expects from Indonesia. They are kind and loving and I'll never forget the days I spent here.

You really can’t get much better than this place. The staff was some of the best staff I have ever experienced in my whole life, we felt bad because they were so incredibly helpful, they wouldn’t let you carry one thing on your own.
Location was beautiful and luscious wildlife all around the resort.

Only accessible by boat, this small paradise was very nice for relaxing and sight seeing in West Bali National Park. It is a small bungalow resort where monkeys / deer's would travel through throughout the day. Directly from the resort you can step into the sea and do some snorkeling. From the resort you can also go snorkeling to Menjangan which was really beautiful. The bungalows were very nice and clean, staff was friendly, it was just great!
Because you are in a resort and cannot go off the island in the night (unless you pay, there are fixed times when the boat travels which are free) you are restricted to only the food they provide at the restaurant. Prices are OK, but still. Definitely recommend people to bring some chips, snacks and drinks with them, naturally there isn't a supermarket. Also note, that every time you leave the resort by boat and you would re-enter, you would have to pay the entrance fee of the West Bali National Park, since the resort is IN the park itself. However, it is also unlikely that you would leave the park during your visit, but nonetheless something to keep in mind.

Everything went very well. The villa was beautiful, everything clean and bed very confortable. The beach was excellent for snorkling. The walk thru the Island with a guide was very nice. the staff was very kind and the spa was excellent. It is a great place to leave stress behind and to be completely relaxed.

Very polite and kind staff, especially Putu (from the Scuba Diving Team). This is an amazing place to relax away from everything and in contact with nature. The bungalow is super cute and has everything you need (very comfortable bed and pillows). The hotel offers free snorkeling equipment (you can see a bunch of different and colorful fish, starfish and reefs). There are wild deer and monkeys walking around the hotel premises.
The restaurant is not bad, but can improve the quality and variety of the food as the guests have no other option that to have dinner there. The sewage smell was quite intense in the bathroom/shower one day.

Location is unique, close snorkeling spots are interesting but not he “free house reef”.
The facilities are 20 years old and look like it, especially because most of the common areas are just rough cementing.

we had an amazing stay!! love the fact that we could get along with the wilderness. super mesmerized by the view, the crystal clear water and the beach is super clean! theres no seen litters. the staffs were very helpful and the food was nice! this place is super relaxing and would definitely come back! 💕
the only thing that is concerning is the footpath from the room to the resto/lobby needs to be repaired.

This is just a very special place. Something for the bucket list. It sits surrounded by a national Park - no other hotels, no shops, no restaurants. Just nature. The most beautiful diving and snorkling spots are a stonethrow away. Even at the hotel itself, you can see some beautiful fish. Monkeys roam the grounds (not just the grey ones you find all over Bali, but also the cutest black monkeys) and if you're lucky deer will also just wander in completely unfazed by the excited humans around them.
Rooms are very nice and the staff is lovely. Food is not overwhelming, but ok.
WiFi is unreliable.
Bring your own shampoo and shower gel or you'll risk smelling like WC cleaner.
While this is by no means a point of actual criticism, it should be noted that this is not a place for anyone with mobility issues - lots of steps, uneven surfaces and the walk to and from the Restaurant can be a little adventure after dark (torches are provided in every room).

The food was great, the room was big and comfortable, the staff was very kind and the massage was amazing.
We also had snorkeling in Pulau Menjangan Island and we saw one of the most beautiful corals
the snorkeling in front of the hotel is not great. Corals are very few and most of the time we stayed at the hotel, there were big waves

The staff at this hotel is fantastic, very attentive to the guest's needs. The rooms are beautiful, very comfortable. The fact that it's in the middle of the forest just tops it all off.
