Amazing. We didn't want to leave! My fav place after staying in 7 different places over 2 weeks.

Everything. The location is amazing, no fences or electric to keep out wildlife so it's wild and beautiful. You can walk to the beach and to a nearby waterhole from your accom (not after dark!) You do need to be careful but that's half the attraction. Two daily (optional) safaris were included with our stay which were brilliant, we saw so much amazing wildlife both on these and also a fair amount in and around the resort itself. Staff were friendly and helpful, they could not do enough to make us feel at home and welcome. It was our honeymoon so we had a lovely dinner on the sand on our last night and they brought us a surprise celebration cake for our dessert which was such a lovely touch. Accommodation was lovely, air con yet rustic feel to it was perfect in nearly 40 degree C heat plus a plunge pool.

That we had to leave! Maybe the menus could have a little more choice if was staying longer, but perfect for a few days.

Superb

incredible rooms, two game drives per night stay (morning and evening), the food was outstanding and the service was as you’d expect for a hotel of this price.

there was nowhere for our driver to stay so he had to drive a long way to find accommodation, unlike other hotels in Sri Lanka. It is very expensive but you know that when booking.

mainly customer service ( ms Zara) the villa and the pool, the view, the safari guide and the surroundings, cocktails

the ac and the limited safari trips , the timings of the safari, the staff who didn’t wait for us when we were late 15 min on the safari , the food as well was below expectations, no entertainment , it’s totally not worth what we paid for

AMAZING! Don't hesitate to book!

Everything. The property is STUNNING! Everything is incredible. The welcome makes you feel special, and everything is very specifically tailored to you which makes the experience even better. Being all inclusive, the food is served in courses rather than the usual buffet that other places do. And it was all so delicious. The Huts are MASSIVE, and so so luxurious, the mini bar is maintained throughout and stocked up, the staff some how manage to know exactly when to do this so as to keep your stay private, they turn down at the end of the evening so when you get back to your room you're ready to hop straight into bed. The bar staff are so so lovely, and make some of the best cocktails I've ever had!

Not all inclusive

Nothing now!

I have many things to say but after what happened when I did the check out I realized it's not all inclusive please you have to know it's not all inclusive and they lied to me because the guy in reception told me something and when I checked out he told me he didn't tell me anything so even I like it but I won't come here again.

Everything was exceptional. And the staff were very professional, accommodating and friendly. The food was amazing. Safaris were great. Very clean place

The bathroom in the huts could be a little more private.

Comfort & privacy were great. Hotel gave us the best villa with sea view + we were able to customize our menu in the restaurant due to special health conditions. Also safari was wonderful - we saw 3 leopards, elephants, eagle's hunt and many other animals in theirs natural habitat. Safari was private - personal car & guide only for 2 of us. Stuff was friendly, helpful & assistant.

We LOVED our stay at Chena Huts!! The accommodation has the wow factor, the staff were brilliant and the all inclusive food and drinks blew us away. Not a buffet in sight - the quality and variety of food and drinks on offer was amazing. The Game Drives were enjoyable and insightful with Jonny, our ranger, being incredibly knowledgeable. Sundowners by the beach was excellent. We’d love to stay again one day.

Faultless! We LOVED our stay at Chena Huts!! The accommodation has the wow factor, the staff were brilliant and the all inclusive food and drinks blew us away. Very good service and facilities exactly what you would expect for the price.

Facilities were exceptional as were the staff. Lovely extra touches for our honeymoon. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

Expensive Food-style over substance, i was expecting a little more flavour.
