Phenomenal hotel, in the heart of nature. The architecture is stunning. Creating beautiful and highly inspirational spaces. A must visit for anyone.
The units were a bit close to each other. In the night we kept hearing another family in a unit next to ours and it did disturb our sleep until they finally settled down at around 11pm.

Everything was perfect, my wife and two children were delighted. We booked for two but ended up staying three because the stay was so exceptional in such an incredible natural setting. The room decor was outstanding, as was the food. Special mention goes to the sunset aperitif, and a huge thank you to all the staff.

We had an absolutely magical stay at Wild Coast Tented Lodge and it was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The location is breathtaking, right between the wild nature of Yala and the ocean, the lodge itself is beautiful, and the whole experience feels completely unique.
The safaris were fantastic and gave us some unforgettable family memories. But beyond the incredible setting, what really made our stay special was the kindness and attention of the entire team. Everyone was genuinely warm, welcoming and always ready to make our experience even better.
A very special thank you for the lovely attention given to our son for his birthday. Celebrating it in such an extraordinary place made the moment even more memorable for our family.
The food, the atmosphere, the wildlife, the service and simply waking up surrounded by nature… everything came together perfectly.
We only stayed for two nights, but it genuinely felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one of those places we will remember for a very long time.
Thank you to the entire Wild Coast team for making our stay so special. We would come back without hesitation. ❤️

The property was gorgeous — we had a cocoon with a private pool and this was our favorite part! The interior of the cocoon was super well designed and elegant, and had everything we needed. Truly loved the room and how it was set up — it matched expectations for such a luxury property. All the pools (both our private one and the main public one) were very well maintained. Staff was very nice and polite. Food was generally good. The sundowner setting by the ocean was really nice — good ambiance and you could watch the sunset and stars from there.
The safari was only 3h per day, which was too short, especially considering it takes 15-20mins to enter the park at the gate, and the same amount on the way back. We expected that “half a day” as advertised would be longer — for example in other locations we have been to, half a day was 6 hours of drive. It was also not always private, e.g. on one of the drives there was another couple with us in the same car.
During meals, there were a few mixups: e.g I always asked for still water and most of the time was served sparkling; once part of the order of my partner never arrived, and more. These were all small so at the moment it was ok, but it piled up. Just didn’t match the luxury vibe and pricing.
