A long way to go

It’s ambience and upgraded rooms

Pool bar staff more interested in chatting than serving. On checkout despite having paid for two nights because I was checking out before midnight they wanted me to pay a penalty of one more night. I had already paid for that night just not using the room. The wine selection is poor. No room service. 4 star facilities 3 star Service

We chose the Hilton brand, but this was more like a Best Western

The location was good. The beach is sheltered by barrier island and private to the property.

The pool bar was open the first day we arrived but was closed the remainder of our stay. On our last day, the beach was littered with rubbish. There was a beach attendant in the towel shack. The staff was hit or miss as far as friendliness or helpfulness. We had issues getting the restaurant on the phone to order food, ultimately we had to go down in person. We consulted the front desk as to the process of how breakfast was charged, as we were overcharged and had to correct it. The front desk attendant laughed and told us to watch out for them because the front desk couldn’t correct it later. I really felt like they were not really prepared to be open and have guests. We spoke to other tourist at an event we booked and their experiences were totally different from ours, but they stayed at different hotels and resorts.

Great location, the hotel restaurant is not great and the shower is horrible. The staff however is amazing!

The shower doors are a deal breaker. If you are bigger than a pencil, good luck getting in and out of the shower. This was the worst part of the stay. The water also doesn’t get hot in the shower and it takes a. really long time to heat up.

Cute beach, close to center, nice friendly staff

They don’t clean the room, dark lobby, overpriced, too expensive, wifi in room didn’t work well, bathroom smelled like sewage from pipes, phone to lobby didn’t even work. Shabby overall

Good location near to restaurants and downtown. The food was very good and the staff helpful

There was no hot water for the duration of our stay despite efforts to fix it. Some areas of the hotel especially corridors could do with smartening up.

Bad value for money Not worth the price poor food Same menu all day boring hotel you can’t get served in a restaurant at night if you want to sit outside you have to wait As they don’t have a lot of staff Takes ages to get your food. If you’re expecting a Hilton hotel this is not worth the money

They had a nice little beach but so does every hotel on the front Everything is overpriced in this hotel not go to value for money at all even if you are willing to spend it it is not worth it.

Bad value for money tiny rooms

Not worth the money at all you can’t get served in the restaurant the menu is always the same they don’t have enough staff working I have never seen so many people eating McDonald’s because they can’t get food in the hotel poor quality for Hilton Hilton

They have a lovely little beach but the deck chairs need replacing as they are old and broken again for a hotel that charges way over 300 per night it is not worth it at all don’t bother

a great start to our holiday

the outside area (pool and beach) were lovely, really interesting to see the big cruisers in the port and it proximity to downtown and the fish fry.

reception and rooms need an update. very dated and dark.

Never going back to that hotel.

No hot water the day I arrived. Was there for 3 days and they did not clean my room any day.Dark lobby and the bar snd the restaurant in the pool was closed.

Private beach is really nice, but the hotel is way overpriced.

I liked the location and the private beach. Also easy covid testing.

The water pressure and temperature of shower and bath were both really poor. Also for the price of the room we expected a better view and the inclusion of breakfast and better bathroom.

There for the Bahamas awakening

Location perfect. Polite and friendly staff Unfortunately the Island is trying to recover from the pandemic lock, many stores, restaurants, market and shops are still closed and the very few that are open seemed to be more aware of the tourist who arrive on cruises and as soon as they leave or the sun sets down everything closes aswell and seems like a ghost island. Wishing all the best to the community and we hope to come back in a near future. God bless you Bahamas!

Minibar in the room a bit noisy The exhaust system in the bathroom was broken and the door was unable to closed completely. We understand that is an Island and getting things is expensive BUT The cost of drinks and food is way too expensive plus the 15 or 18% of gratuity added. For sure they deserve the gratuity since they earn it with their spectacular service but if the original cost was fair then we wouldn't mind to add it but getting it charged the gratuity automatically is another thing.

Rooms damp, clothes Always damp would never dry. Very old rooms and definitely not Hilton standard. Holes in carpets damaged furniture. Needs a full renovation.

Great location but that’s all that was great about this hotel. If you book a room expecting a Hilton quality room. Then

Close to cruise ship

Room had black mold in the bathroom. The room smelt musty and you could smell the mold. Made me sick from the mold. The shower door was broke. Only nice thing about the room was the Tv. The bed was ok except the mold on the headboard I had to clean before sleeping in the bed. The room wasn’t very clean. The room was warm even with the ac on max. For the price we paid for the room it wasn’t worth the cost. We have stayed at many of Hilton hotels. And this one was not at the level we are use to for being a Hilton honors member. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But overall not worth the price.
